Dr. Peterson actually cares about her patients wellbeing. She calls me her friend and that’s why I smile every time I have to go there. She is gentle, warm and engaging. I have never had a more positive experience with ANY other dentist than I’ve had with her.
She really does everything to help you! If I could give her more stars I would. Her beautiful daughter welcomes you at the front desk and the dental assistants always greet you. You really are made to feel special here.

The worse experience and place for a child with autism to go! Do not recommend especially with Dr.Peterson. Covering a child’s mouth who is scared is uncalled for and not doing the filling properly and causing more pain to the child

I call for an urgent appointment for my kid and he was seeing the next day. Dentist is very knowledgeable and explains everything to parents as well as the kids on every procedure. My kid had two front teeth remove because they bother him a lot and his permanent teeth are coming, even the injection for the anesthesia didn't bother him.
Nurse and dentist knew how to calm him down and do the procedure without a problem. My kid got out of there happy and it was a good experience.

Accepts ucare/ma, but not really child-friendly as the hygienist said: "now were going to use this pokey-thing (the explorer) to check your teeth. " This was a major error on her part as it panicked BOTH of my children and then was very difficult to finish our appointment without fear, tears and stress. Did not perform xrays. The book sent home with us "Oh my! My baby is growing teeth!" but refers to tooth plaque as "yucky tooth pee and poopy" and then "bad bugs".
I guess I use adult terms with my kids and call it plaque and germs on our teeth and pee and poop come from our digestive and urinary systems. It also discusses weaning from the bottle and says pat your baby back to sleep- dentists are not the people to ask about when you should wean your child and ask about sleep concerns. Night waking is biologically normal, and being hungry overnight is a valid reason for waking up and they imply you should not feed your baby overnight. Overall, not impressed and would not recommend.
We have since found care at a pediatric dentist to improve our dental visits (no pokey-things) and hopefully decrease their fear of dentist offices going forward.
