This dental office has incompetent and disrespectful billing practices. I was quoted $1435 for an implant but billed $2587, despite my insurance paying more than expected and no complications arising. They admitted using an incorrect fee schedule but refused to honor the original agreement. Despite multiple calls and emails, they insisted I pay the inflated price, blaming "insurance complications. ” Rather than taking accountability for their error, they made excuses about how they can’t keep up with the changing insurance fee schedules, as if that’s not their job! I spent hours reviewing EOBs and proving their error, which they were unable to do themselves over the course of 4 visits and 6 months.

They offered a small discount but still demanded almost $1000 extra. Even Dr. Theurer refused to intervene and honor the original agreement. This feels like a bait and switch, leaving me with no recourse. I would never have agreed to the procedure at the actual cost.

Although the procedure itself went fine and my hygienist has always been skilled and friendly, the billing fiasco has soured my experience with this office. They’ve lost my business, and I urge everyone to choose another dental provider to avoid similar issues.

I called at 10:40 am on March 13 asked if they took medicaid. They said no and I also have Delta Dental so I had questions about co pays. I need some cavities filled and I had gotten counseled by my last dentist who is now out of network which is why i need to find a new dentist and i explained all of this to her and the woman on the phone was so rude, didn’t believe that i had all of this information regarding me needing cavities filled, she was speaking to me like i was a child who didn’t know what was going on.

And then she proceeded to tell ME to call MY insurance and ask them how much it would be to have cavities filled in their office. (Usually always front desk handles those types of questions) Based on phone etiquette i would never come here to get services done.

I was referred to this office and had a cleaning performed by Amanda Ray. It was EXCELLENT. I grew up with family in the dental profession so I can be somewhat particular and Amanda was extremely competent, thorough, and communicative. Thank you!
