I was in pain looking for a dentist. I called 5 star dental and Nicole answered the phone and was very welcoming and very professional. She made me an appointment right away which was awesome! I came in met Xandra the office manager. She was very knowledgeable about my insurance went over everything she was very nice and caring about my concerns she was very warm hearted and professional as well. Met the dentist who was awesome too. The entire staff at 5 star is great!!!!! Thank you guys for a wonderful dental experience.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! I took a day off from work in order to have a dental procedure scheduled for 1/29/2025 at 2:40PM. The dental office called me and stated that the hygienist would be unavailble and that the procedured would have to be reschulded. The appointment was rescheduled for the next day 1/30/2025 at 8AM. So now I have to take another day off from work, and on top of that I received a text message from this place stating that I would be charged $100 if I failed to keep my appointment.

I arrived at the scheduled 8AM appointment and was told by the "laughing" receptionist that she forget to inform me that the office hours had changed and that I need return at 9AM. So now I have to wait around in my car for an hour. As soon as I returned for my revised appointment, the "laughing" receptionist immediately requested payment for treatment I had not yet received. I reluctantly paid the fee and was escorted to an exam room.

In comes this dude named George, and without washing his hands or putting on gloves he puts a blood pressure cuff on my left arm. Still unwashed and ungloved, he and opens and dumps a sterile pack containing the dental instruments that were to be used for my procedure. I immediately addressed the issue and was told by the "laughing" receptionist, "No problem, we will get some new instruments. " My family will not be returning to this dump!!!!

Although I felt terrible today, I made my scheduled dental appointment at five Star family dental. I have not been back in a year due to a car accident. Upon arriving I was made aware that several employees called off due to illness. Therefore my wait would be a little longer than normal which wasn't a big deal to me. Once I was finally summons to the back by the most fantastic hygienist ever. Kenyada is her name. Remember it! I'm sure she'll be the head dentist in a couple years! She was as thorough and professional as could be. She took time and care that you don't normally get "THESE DAYS". She alone is worth going to this facility.

Request her and only her! 😝 Create a traffic jam in that joint! lol I genuinely mean she was wonderful. As far as the rest of the facility goes everyone was very nice and professional but she is the person I spent the majority of my time with. The dentist came in for 3 minutes and I was out. *Update 01-06-25 I returned to the office to have cavities filled. The dentist Dr Gary as well as the assistant Tiffany were great. My ONLY issue is every time I have any service done, I'm now paying out of pocket which I've never done previously with the previous staff. I was told that I had four cavities. Two would be filled on the current visit. As we finished up, I was told the dentist filled 5 cavities when I was initially told I only had 4.

I had to pay money on the first visit and was told then I wouldn't owe anything on my second visit. Only to have to make another payment of over $50. Feels like a money grab to me! In all of my years of going to dentist, I have never had to pay out of pocket like I'm paying with 5 star family dental. (Insured) As I departed, I did noticed that the waiting room was empty at noon time. It made me wonder. . .

The dentist was alarmingly rude, had a "bad bedside" manner and deceptive. After making recommendations that I did not agree with, he proceeded to ask me to leave and not return until I followed his protocols. Now I understand why the lobby was empty and it was easy to book an appointment. This dentist needs more customer service skills.
