Detailed Introduction

A Kid's Place Dentistry is a dedicated pediatric dental practice committed to providing exceptional oral healthcare for infants, children, and adolescents. While the provided information points to a location in Salt Lake City, UT, online searches also indicate a strong presence and similar philosophy for "A Kids Place Dentistry" in Renton and Seattle, Washington, with a shared commitment to child-friendly dental experiences. The core philosophy of A Kid's Place Dentistry revolves around a "parent-directed" approach, recognizing that parents are the experts on their own children's needs, anxieties, and preferences. This collaborative approach ensures that treatment plans are tailored to each child, taking into account their individual comfort and the parents' philosophies regarding care, such as views on fluoride, X-rays, and diet. The practice aims to transform the often-dreaded dental visit into a positive and enjoyable experience for children. They strive to create a comfortable and welcoming environment, often incorporating elements like ceiling-mounted TVs, headphones, and engaging themes to distract and entertain young patients. The staff is highly trained in caring for children, demonstrating compassion, kindness, and a fun demeanor to ease any anxieties. Services offered typically encompass a wide range of pediatric dental treatments, including: Preventive Care: This is a cornerstone of their practice, focusing on regular check-ups, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants to prevent tooth decay and establish lifelong healthy oral habits. Restorative Dentistry: Addressing existing dental issues such as fillings for cavities and, when necessary, other restorative procedures. Sedation Dentistry: For anxious children or more extensive procedures, various sedation options are available to ensure comfort and a stress-free experience. Early Orthodontic Assessments: Monitoring facial growth and tooth development to identify and address potential orthodontic concerns early on. Emergency Dentistry: Providing prompt care for dental accidents and injuries. Patient Education: Educating both children and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health. A key aspect of their approach is ensuring that parents are welcome in the treatment rooms during examinations and procedures. This transparency fosters trust and allows for direct communication between the dentist and parents regarding the child's oral health. Ultimately, A Kid's Place Dentistry strives to instill a positive perception of dental care in children from a young age, contributing to their overall well-being and a lifetime of healthy smiles.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! I took my two kids here and they each had a few cavities that needed filled. When they were doing the fillings on my 8 year old the tip on the pulp dent came off because the assistant did not tighten it and got all over his face and burned his cheek and neck and they acted like it was no big deal! 3 days later he still has sores on his face.

They were not friendly with my kids at all and did not explain anything they were doing to them. I definitely will never be going back!

Welcoming atmosphere. This is our first visit here and I love it. Sylvia was super nice and gave me everything I needed to get all signed her. My two year old was super cranky and antsy and the front desk ladies gave her a slinky to entertain her. Harli was sweet and so nice to my girls. We will definitely be back!

I decided to try A Kid's Place because of their extended hours. My son needed to have some work done and we scheduled an appointment. After waiting an 80 minutes past our scheduled appointment they took us back. The dentist started the work, got up and helped another patient, and returned 10 minutes later. My four year was already feeling uneasy, but the wait and the doctor leaving made it worse. Three months later, they still have not figured out the billing.

I got a call because my insurance was denying the claim. They were sending it to the wrong insurance. They asked for a copy of my insurance card (again), and I have already paid $150 out of pocket. I will not be returning and would not recommend. On top of this, the Murray office is not well maintained.

I love this place and quite honestly I would not take my kids anywhere else. The staff are ALWAYS professional, courteous, and even friendly. They are always wonderful with my kids.

They are extremely sensitive and awesome about making sure your child is as comfortable as possible and feel like the dentist office is a safe, fun place, even to the point of putting your children out for major dental work so that they do not remember it and therefore do not have traumatic memories of being scared to death at a dentist pulling their teeth out and seeing their own blood.
