Used to be owned by a wonderful dentist, has since changed hands to someone else. So creepy to find out that the new dentist used to post on his public instagram a bunch of bloody teeth… not sure if this is normal, even if they are a dentist

Went a couple weeks ago Dr clearly doesn’t care about patients very unprofessional. Drs and hygienest always changing, never have the same one super frustrating have talked to other patients in waiting room about this. I tried out his other office Carleton dental downtown and the receptionist was super rude and not helpful at all .. offices are outdated and cheap.

I had a very difficult experience at this dental clinic. Please note that this clinic is no longer operated by the same team (Dr. Dean) that earned the previous positive reviews. As of last year, the owner and all the dentists have changed. Based on my experience, the treatment I received did not feel professional.

I give three stars because of Erica--I believe she is the office coordinator and has been excellent to work with. Back during the pandemic I started going here as my regular dentist was not yet open. At the time Dr. Dean was there and he was so thorough and fixed a lot of older fillings. Flash forward nearly five years later and it pains me to have to write that after my last filling I had to seek out a new dentist.

One thing to note is there is a constant turn-over at this location since Dr. Dean left. I never know what dentist I will see when I need to see one and I think for every check-up, twice a year since I started going, I only ever got the same hygienist a few times. In addition to the pain that resulted from my last filling, the cleaning was sub-par as well. The hygienist barely did any scraping and concentrated more on making recommendations to the dentist, constantly leaving me for conversations.

As an aside, this week I got another email from the clinic announcing more departures, including the dentist that did my last filling. In hindsight, it is a good thing that I located another clinic and when talking to other patients in the waiting room, I found out that the staff have been there for years and the clients themselves long-term.
