I've been a patient at Advance for 6 years and have always had a great experience. I recently had an insurance change and contacted the office with my new policy information not once, but twice, via email. I was told they " bill United Healthcare" but I was not told that they were out of network and I would incurr nearly a $250 bill for a routine cleaning that would have been 100% covered under an in network provider.

I'm disappointed in their lack of transparency, especially after talking with my insurance company who said that they had an obligation disclose this to me. For a business that prides themselves on customer service, they missed the mark on this.

I was so glad I came to Advanced Dental! What a homey, comfortable environment! From the friendly staff at the front desk for check in and check out, to Melissa, the hygienist, so friendly, gentle and thorough to Dr. Stangebye who’s very personable. I was thoroughly impressed with absolutely everything and everyone.

I’m trusting them with all of my dental needs and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The best dentist I’ve had for myself and my family since moving to Indiana. They take extra care to make children feel comfortable and less fearful of the dentist. He is extremely educated, kind, and patent. He listens to your concerns and does not suggest aggressive treatment plans. I continue to bring my whole family even though they are out of network because I am so satisfied with the care we receive here. They even offer warm blankets to the patients.

A small gesture that can go a long way with providing comfort and settling nerves. They have consistent staff and dedicated days for kids. My kids used to be anxious to go to the dentist, and now they calm down after asking is we’re “going to the good dentist” or not. The staff at the front is personable and kind. 10/10.

So happy to have found such a warm and friendly dental practice! Dr. Stangebye just provided my first crown and has been great throughout, fitting me in quickly for any post care needs. I quickly trusted and felt extremely comfortable, something that a “nervous” patient doesn’t often find. Vicki just completed my deep clean and was gentle and extremely caring to ensure I was always comfortable.

The front team of Tamera & Sue are possibly the happiest duo I’ve come across. The entire office feels like visiting friends & family and my big takeaway is how much they all seem to care. If you want a private practice (this was incredibly important for me) along with excellent care this is the place!
