I must tell you…what an amazing experience I have had with the process and the team over at the Advance Dentistry in Hilliard. I’ve been pushing off getting my wisdom teeth out for many, many years (I'm 34) and I was nervous to go through the process. Every person that I had contact with to move forward with my extraction was tremendous and patient with me. They made me feel confident and safe.

The extraction was super easy and I felt 90% back to normal after 4 days. Walking into my follow up appointment to have my suture’s removed and I was greeted with “Hi Alexa, how are you feeling today”? WOW! I will forever be a loyal patience for the rest of the time here on this earth and that’s a promise.

Had a great experience at Advance Dentistry! They did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and quickly fixed a broken tooth with care and skill. The staff was friendly and professional—highly recommend!

This location in Hilliard was supposed to cater to cowards, however I did not feel that. It bothered me on a few occasions how some of the employees would stand and whisper to each other, when I was the only one in the office. Maybe it had nothing to do with me, but I thought that it was very rude. I feel that today's appointment did not go well as they were very adamant about me only having general anesthesia for any and all work to be done. In addition to that, I was told by the dentist that even after all of my treatments I would have to get my teeth cleaned every 3 to 4 months, and only done under general anesthesia. My first treatment plan was going to cost over $7,000, which includes the cost for the anesthesiologist.

After that more treatments would be done for additional costs of thousands of dollars and would probably include an anesthesiologist. Are they getting a kick back by recommending an anesthesiologist? And they said the anesthesiologist is only there once a month, and had just been there last Tuesday. There was so much information throwing out at me, and yet some unanswered questions. At some point I was told I had two wisdom teeth, then three, and I was so confused that I still don't know exactly what I have. Granted I haven't taken care of my teeth for quite a while, but I feel that this place was a money-making place and didn't give me options as far as extractions versus getting a crown. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this location.

In addition to that during the exam room where they did the x-rays was SO freezing cold, even though I had jeans on. I didn't feel a warm welcome in this location. I would not recommend going to this dentist even though an initial visit with x-rays, exam and consultation were free. Now I know why they were free, because they take you to the cleaners with all the other additional expenses. I am not happy at all with this Dental office.

I've had dental fear for many years now and went from age 26 to she 42 without going. Once I began to try to find a dentist that could provide services I need (like IV sedation) I was hard pressed! I even had a different dental place schedule me, make me wait for over half an hour even though I was clearly distressed in their waiting room, and then pair me with a pregnant provider who couldn't even administer nitrous! This was after I had put a whole paragraph on my intake about my dental anxiety! I thought I want going to be able to find a place that could meet my needs. . .

Enter Advanced Dentistry. An excellent place to go if you have any sort of anxiety related to the dentist. Each time I've gone, they've not only taken the time explain everything before doing it, but they've always asked what I need (a break, music, weighted blanket). They actively try to avoid spending too much time on anything that would be terribly triggering and are always checking in on me in a way that's not overbearing.

The team makes great recommendations for care based on my needs and tolerance, which I appreciate.
