First off all of the staff aren't friendly. MindY is the only one with a serious attitude and has no idea what she's doing. I called in to confirm that my previous dental records were electronically sent over before my cleaning and she states that they weren't . I received confirmation that they were sent back in December. I called the office back for them to confirm and Mindy gets transferred onto the phone to say "oh yeah we did receive them I just didn't look in the other email" . Mind you she says it with an attitude and didn't even call me back to alert me that the office did indeed have them .
So the following week I had a 2nd appt schedule for a fill in but I just called today to reschedule due to my company flying me out for a job meeting at another plant in Raleigh. MINDY has the nerve to ask me why am I rescheduling . . . . really ? What do I need a note and clearly I needed to explain why I had to reschedule.
I read a previous review of someone stating the office told them they couldn't come back because of rescheduling an appt but now I believe them. Very unprofessional and no customer service or courtesy all because of one person who is snarky for having to do her job as being apart of clinical staff whom works at the front desk . The dentist are lovely but not the front desk . I won't be returning to this place .

Enough is enough. I started going here since it was a very convenient location. Under the past management it wasn't very well run, but now I've just hit the breaking point.
There is always poor communication and miscordination with my patient records but when the dentist sprayed cold water directly on the area I had just talked with them about being really sensitive, that's when I knew the problems had reached a level that was actually going to be detrimental to my short term and long term health. Schedule for my next appointment six months from now? No thanks, I'm moving on to somewhere else.

Unlike one of the previous reviews, I have been going to this dentist for about 18 years and have never had an issue with disappearing appointments. I have found that as long as you call to confirm an appointment, your appointment will go smoothly. The staff is very kind and friendly. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. Dr. Egert, as well as the other dentists and hygienists, is hilarious and a joy to be around.
**UPDATE** If you have any questions about the place, the women are very nice. Feel free to ask for a specific person to talk to if you want; Kathy, Nancy, Deanne, and Mindy are the front desk ladies. They are very helpful. Kathy and Nancy have been there the longest but they all can help you out.

I have been coming to AD for about 2 years now but will moving to a dentist that is closer to me. I wanted to leave a review to encourage you to go here. My dentist, Dr. Patel was great! He was funny, insightful, and really helped get my teeth to a better state. Due to pandemic, my teeth hygiene went down the drain. He and many of the other folks were helpful and great.
There were two hygienist that I worked with but didn't get their names sadly. Two women that were wonderful. Lastly, as I called to get my records to transfer to my new dental office, the receptionist Brian helped out greatly. He sent all the information in a timely matter and even called back to let me know he completed everything and if I had other questions to call back. I truly appreciate it! Thank you Affinity Dental !
