Alcona Health Center Dental is a branch of Alcona Health Center, a non-profit, Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) with multiple locations throughout Northern Michigan. The Oscoda Dental location, situated at 208 S State St, Oscoda Township, MI, operates within a larger health system dedicated to providing comprehensive medical, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy services to all residents, regardless of their ability to pay. Operating under a Patient-Centered Medical Home model of care, Alcona Health Center Dental in Oscoda offers a wide range of general dentistry services tailored for the entire family. These services include, but are not limited to, routine exams, professional cleanings, fillings, extractions, the provision of dentures and partials, crowns and bridges, and periodontal (gum) treatment. They are committed to welcoming new patients and strive to remove financial barriers to care. To this end, they accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid and MIChild, and offer an income-based Sliding Fee program for eligible individuals. Additionally, the clinic provides translation and interpretive services for blind, deaf, and/or non-English speaking patients to ensure clear communication and accessibility for diverse communities. The Oscoda Dental office has dedicated providers such as Jean Bridgman, RDH; Eleanor Manzini, DDS; and Deanna Mulvahill, RDH. Went here for a cleaning and received X-rays also. Talked about wisdom teeth and future troubles they would have. Made the option to have the best in the state remove them instead of fillings then crowns later on. The office would NOT release the file/xrays.

The woman on the phone was just nasty to me and the surgeon office staff. Had to make a trip and demand the file in person as she held it 4 feet back from the glass attempting a lecture. One and DONE!! Dropped to whole AHC all together! Never going back.

The staff are friendly and thorough. I have never had a dentist do such a complete assessment. The hygienist is amazing and does a great job cleaning!

I cannot say enough good about this office. My boys 7yo&9yo had their first fillings done today. The staff and dentist took such good care of them! I was beyond impressed. My boys left totally unfazed even after a surprise need to pull a tooth for my oldest. They showed them everything they would use during the procedure before they started. And didn't rush the kids while they examined things.

They even let them feel how the tools felt on their hands to show them there was nothing to he worried about. They kept the boys in the loop and made them feel confident that they would be listened to if it felt uncomfortable at any point. The kids are still looking forward to going back to dentist after this visit; that's how well it went today. A hugenthanks to the dentist and all amazing people working here! I'm so glad we choose this office! And I look forward to continuing to build relationships with everyone there. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my children!!!
