I had a generally positive experience with the dental team at this office. The dental assistants and hygienists were attentive, caring, and professional. Dr.

Szikman is clearly passionate about his work and demonstrates a high level of knowledge! I appreciated the helpful tips provided on addressing some of my problem areas from both the provider and hygienist. I wish I could recall her name to give her kudos… However, I did find that the office seems to prioritize a more business-driven approach, which may not be ideal for everyone. Additionally, the level of customer service provided by the front desk staff appeared inconsistent at times….

While the care itself was satisfactory, the overall atmosphere felt more transactional than personal. Based on my experience, I would not personally recommend this office, especially for those seeking a more individualized or patient-centered approach. If you're looking for basic preventive care and are comfortable navigating the more business-oriented aspects of the practice, this may still be a suitable option for you!!

Extremely pleased with Alfaro Dental Care staff!! Dr. Szikman is very knowledgeable and I can tell he really puts effort in giving the best treatment possible. It’s hard to feel comfortable in a dental office but the staff really makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend this practice for any of your dental needs.

I can’t begin to explain how angry, disappointed, frustrated, and DONE I am with this office. I went last week just to have a cleaning done. They found a broken wisdom tooth and decided to refer me out to have the teeth removed. $156 later after a consultation I found out they referred me out to someone not in my network who tried to max out my dental insurance for 2 teeth so they denied it anyway. I called and asked Alfaro dental care why and excuses later I had to call and find someone myself.

Another $111 the new office needs me to have Alfaro to send over their X-rays because they know that my insurance won’t cover another set. I called for them to do so and instead of them just emailing over the X-rays to the office they need the office to call and request the X-rays. I had to have another set of X-rays done.
