Unfortunately I have to give this place one star due to how rude the front staff can be. Dr Kamp is awesome and is unfortunate to have to leave the office but multiple times I’ve had issues here. The Dr is always nice about fixing any issues but even after a bad gum surgery experience I had here years ago I still gave it another shot. Recently the dr had removed the nerves in my tooth and I called back stating I was still in a lot of pain to be told. . “well he removed the nerves so it shouldn’t be hurting”. . and I said well something is wrong I need to be seen.

Came in there was still nerve left, Dr apologized and said next time done tough it out if your in pain call us. I’m thinking in my head; “I DID”! Then I get a this tooth that was re opened since tissue was remaining and I paid for the procedure already. So doc said no charge it’s my fault Its on us. But left so tooth open. Made apt for specialist and they said no tooth should be closed until apt (since about a month out) so I had to return to Algonquin dental and then was charged for the filling even though the tooth was only re opened due to missed tissue. I still paid. Then I was in EXCRUCIATING PAIN. to then be told they didn’t do anything except fill it and that there was nothing else the could do for me but to see the specialist and take advil: I was applauded considering I was in tears at this point and they STILL dismissed me and my pain.

Didn’t consider hey we did something that angered the tooth maybe let’s fix it or take a look now that she’s in AGONY. Well let’s just say I went to specialist and he just tapped the tooth and I JUMPED. There was stilll nerve left!! Unreal. I hope this saves someone else from wasting their time here and feeling like the front desk can speak to you that way. Also, the front desk throws out there when I called to complain about how I felt and said we have moved around a spot to see you after you missed a apt. I’m sorry what does that have to do with everything I’m dealing with here?! 👎👎👎👎👎

I was having an issue that was unresolved by a previous dental practice. I was able to make a next day appointment, they were able to identify the issue and took care of it and I can none the happier. A very friendly and caring atmosphere, I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dental practice.
