I have to Edit my review again…. I came from janky dentists that only told me what I wanted to hear and caused more issues on purpose. Dr. Salah and his staff are honest, trustworthy and very compassionate people. Not only do they take GREAT care of me but they also take great care of my daughter.

I have NEVER had any issues going here in the 8years I have been going. They ALWAYS go over what costs are before they do any procedures with me and are just down to earth people. Then again… I always go to places of businesses with class so I never have issues….

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Went in for 22 extractions (MOSTLY healthy teeth, but I was told by them that my insurance didn't cover root canals. . . . ONLY to find out they DID indeed cover root canals, so they pushed decries for the extra 8 grand. . . ) The dental assistant who was numbing me kept letting it drip down my throat and wasn't rinsing it away, so it felt like I couldn't breath. I kept asking her to rinse it, and she rudely told me to stop talking - I told her I couldn't breath and she said "it only feels that way". She started numbing me again, and STILL wouldn't use the suction/rinse my mouth, so I made her stop because I felt like I was drowning.

The dental tech that came in to see what was wrong finished numbing me and did it correctly, I wish I knew his name (and that he was the one I continued to work with moving forward. . . . ) because he was amazing! My next appointment with them was for imprints, but I knew that I still had a piece of tooth they had missed. They told me over the phone "it's just a bone spur" - WITHOUT even seeing me, or asking for pictures or anything - and to still just come in for my impressions. Well, I was right - so my impressions turned into another partial extraction, but they STILL took the impressions. . . .

even tho there was probably a lot of swelling from half a BRAND NEW tooth extraction. Needless to say, when I went in for my first fitting, they felt off. During my first fitting, the dentist failed to mention that the teeth were set in wax and not to bite down, UNTIL AFTER I already had them in my mouth. So, naturally bit down immediately because there was something big and foreign in my mouth! When I told him that I did bite down, and that I felt them shift, he said 'they'll be fine' and I trusted that. When I FINALLY got my dentures, they did NOT FIT AT ALL. I couldn't bite down without them popping off one side (the same side I felt shift in my first fitting) - and when I told him this, he said "I've been doing this for blah blah blah years, I know what I'm doing". TERRIBLE experience, TERRIBLE staff, TERRIBLE end results, TERRIBLE ethics. I did NOT need dentures, I needed root canals. I am currently seeking professional legal support because they CLEARLY take advantage of people on state aid/Medicaid.

I never write reviews but I must in this case. Avoid at all costs!!!!! Worst office and advice ever!! Had swelling around one wisdom tooth and was told I need all four pulled. For what I asked he stated just in case you have trouble later. Then was told a I needed a root canal which they did horribly now I'm told I need an extraction. Dr is very cold, super sarcastic and uncaring about anything but money.

Every call is to schedule me for services that are not needed. They constantly have to get extra approval because the services they want to do aren't needed in many cases just added at the beginning so you feel pressured to get them before any true work is done on the intial problem you came in for!! Just insane how this office operates. They sucker you in with Dr. Saleh for the consult then you never see him again just hygienist and the other dentist who literally does not care about anything dental related. He is more interested in cosmetic dentistry and pulling teeth that are perfectly fine than any type of oral hygiene.

The office is tiny, dirty and has Ivy(could be poisonous im not sure)growing from outside to literally inside the offices where procedures are done. Smh just a terrible experience any way you slice it. Do yourself a huge favor and please, Please go ANYWHERE else but All About Smiles!!!!!!

Today is April 29 2025, I just ealked out of all about smiles on Gratiot. In 35 years of my life I haven't had a cavity once I went in there last week and they told me I had two small pinpoint cavities that they could quickly drill out painlessly.

So I agree after that my mouth has been hurting non-stop 24/7 since then. I thought that the filling must have fallen out because of the intense pain I'm in right now but I went in there just 15 minutes ago and they said nope that's it that's all they're going to do for me so now I have to live with this pain for the rest of my life because I chose to use All about smiles as my dentist
