I went to Carla Alldredge about a year and half ago as a new patient (only because it’s one of the only places accepting my insurance at the time) and it was a horrible experience . First off, the teeth cleaning was so painful. It felt like they were continuously stabbing my gums. It was so awful that it brought tears to my eyes. Then, Dr. Alldredge told me that I had NINE cavities that needed to be filled. She would not show me my x-rays.

Also I overheard her tell the person next door that they had twelve cavities that needed filled. It was going to cost too much out of pocket so I opted not to get them filled and never went back. I just now went to a new dentist and they showed me my x-rays and I only have ONE cavity that is barely starting. Other than that my teeth are in perfect condition. Seems to me like there might be a bit of malpractice going on here.

I have been coming to this dentist ever since I moved to Newburgh four years ago. I normally have no issues and was always in and out. This last appointment was on a work day(Thursday) and I was getting blown up during my appointment and while Carla was cleaning my teeth, I looked at my phone to see who it was and what was going on. She then huffed at me and said “Is it important” with a rude tone.

I said no and just put it down because I didn’t want to be rude and distract her if it was a problem. I just got home to find a letter from Carla stating that she will no longer be my dentist and when I called and asked why the receptionist(David, who also needs to get a personality and stop sounding so much like Ben Stein) said that it was because I was on my phone while she was cleaning my teeth. This is unbelievably unprofessional and very childish if I might add. I have referred many people to her because it was always easy going, never amazing service but it was simple.

Will NEVER recommend this place again and will tell everyone about my experience and how horrible their customer service is.

Completely changed my smile five star rating. Dr. Aldridge took me from broken teeth to veneers and crowns. I’m just finishing up my whole mouth and I have the beautiful smile I’ve ever seen. I’m complimented on the regular. I eat well I had all of my teeth done.
