ZERO STARS IF I CAN WITH DECEPTIVE BILLING PRACTICES. $175 consult fee for my wisdom tooth extraction. I recently had panoramic x-ray at another dentist so I had the image released to me, which I provided to them. At check in when I paid for my consult fee, I was presented with a receipt that says I had zero balance (they received my x-ray weeks ago and knew i brought imaging from elsewhere).

I forgot my credit card (no apple pay) so I used a family member's card, and was told I would be able to get that refunded and charged to my card after the appointment. When I called back after I got home, I was told SURPRISE, extra $75 charge because I brought scans from somewhere else. Does a consultation not require reading imaging? How does the doctor spend anything additional time reading x-ray I sent in vs they took? If anything, it speeds up my time in the office. Basically, I was charged extra because they could not bill for an x-ray, not because I required different care.

Fricking disgrace of medical provider.

This is not a 4. 5 star average worthy office. Something is off! I wish I had seen some of these reviews before WASTING my time at this office. After changing insurance carriers, I chose this location for its convenience. I scheduled an appointment and clearly informed them that I was pregnant, even providing medical clearance from my OBGYN.

Yet, on the day of my visit, they denied me a simple cleaning in my second trimester—despite it being BOTH safe AND recommended. So, I find it unnecessary to schedule an appointment, have me come in, fill out paperwork and then have me wait, just to bring me back into the exam room and tell me they will not even do a routine cleaning. Their excuse when questioned, was because they didn't want to do a routine cleaning because I might need a deep cleaning. I regularly go to the dentist and have never required a deep cleaning. For reference, both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American Dental Association (ADA) strongly encourage pregnant women to maintain regular dental care, especially if it has been more than six months since their last visit.

This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and entirely avoidable. I do not recommend this office to anyone, especially expectant mothers seeking routine care.
