I moved to the area about a year and a half ago. Dr. Spivey and his office were recommended to me by several people in my book club, so I gave them a shot! I was told by my previous dentist (from my last home) that I had some gum recession and needed an assessment for gum grafting. I thought for sure this new dentist would say I needed it right away, but instead, he evaluated my gums and insured me it was not time yet to do a grafting.

He assured me they would continue to keep an eye on it (and they have reassessed it at each visit) and if it got bad enough, they’d let me know and we’d talk about it then. My husband and I have been patients there since we moved here and have been impressed that they address our concerns, but don’t try to convince us to do procedures that are unnecessary! On top of that, everyone in the office is all smiles and helps you feel at ease. We have been very satisfied with each encounter at their office and highly recommend them!

Always a good experience at Anchor Dental. Dr. Spivey knows what he’s doing and does it very well. The whole staff is very caring and friendly, and they all explain everything clearly, in a way you know exactly what’s going on and what is going to be done. I highly recommend.

My experience at Anchor Dental rates 5 STAR. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, informative and kind. They happily informed me of the exact costs before my appointment, what insurance covered, etc. (not typical in my past experiences). Anchor dental is now NC dentist! Thank you
