Nice location. Friendly staff. Clean office. However, during my visit: Deanna, willingly answered my concerns, and then suggested I make an appointment for (an) x-rays for clarity. No problem. Prior to leaving, I was given an exact dollar amount for the x-rays, by the dentist/front desk. Upon return, I made sure I had the exact dollar amount for my x-ray appointment. They/Deanna took the x-ray(s), then started taking "pictures" of my teeth? I stopped her in the middle of taking a few photos. I said, "Excuse me, but you said that I was going to have x-rays done only.

So I'm not sure why you're taking pictures". Then the dentist stated and explained something like, 'This is part of it, the x-rays'. I said "Okay, but you quoted me a certain amount and I don't want to go over that amount". Assuring me, she proceeded to take pictures. Nevertheless, I walked out with a bill that was more than expected. Shows that she/dentist had not listened to me, or simply just had no empathy. I would not have had a problem with her taking pictures, had that been explained in the prior visit, or had she just stopped taking pictures altogether when I questioned her, because of costs. I understand that she was doing her job of what she felt needed to be done, but that isn't the point here. Slow down, listen to your clients and show some empathy.

Blessings. - - - - 02/2025: Following up to the dentist's 02/2025 empathy. I would have appreciated your empathy at the time that I was being serviced. But I said what I said. The bill has been paid in full, although I did ask questions prior to paying it. You did not offer to change the x-ray bill amount then, so let us (both) not pretend that it matters now. Nevertheless, thank you for responding.
