My mother recommended this dental practice to me at least a decade ago. She was a patient of Dr. Pal’s for many years and spent thousands of dollars at this dental practice. I also had become an established patient. I am a Medicaid recipient who has a 14-year-old child who is in need of having several cavities filled.

She had an appointment this afternoon to have some of those cavities filled. An incident had occurred at her school and I was fearful of letting my child go back to school until this was resolved. So yesterday, I spent all day at my daughter‘s school, didn’t sleep well last night as a result and have a bad cold. The fact of the matter was, I needed to reschedule my daughters dental appointment, due to these unexpected circumstances, so I called to do so. The receptionist got all indignant with me saying that she couldn’t reschedule my daughter because she had another patient that had wanted to come in during my daughter’s slot and didn’t appreciate me calling the same day to reschedule because they require a 24 hour notice.

I tried to explain to her the significance of the incident at my daughter’s school and that I had to be there all day yesterday to make sure that she was safe to return today, I also have a bad cold and I didn’t appreciate her telling me they couldn’t give me another appointment because she had another patient that wanted to take my daughter’s slot. She then proceeded to tell me that I would need to call when my daughter is available to come in the same day and they would TRY TO FIT HER IN! (Could this be because I’m a Medicaid recipient?) I told her, “NO, I NEED TO RESCHEDULE HER APPOINTMENT, I’m not going to be calling in to see if she can come in on a day that she’s available to see if you can fit her in!!! She then tells me that she didn’t have anything available until the end of November!!! So I told her that I would just find another dentist that is more understanding.

Friendly and helpful service. However, after a cavity filling and wisdom tooth pulling, I was left with my teeth in worse condition than before. 1. ) Botched filling. They drilled too deep into my tooth to fill in the cavity; now my tooth hurts every time I drink something cold/hot or if I floss. 2.

) The whole right side of my tongue has lost all taste and sensation because of a botched wisdom tooth operation. Doctor must have damaged a nerve while getting my teeth out. Now, the overall health of teeth is WORSE than before I even went there! I know these things are natural risks associated with getting your teeth fixed but out of 2 surgeries both were botched. Nice people, but 0/2 in terms of surgeries. Go somewhere else for surgeries and anything other than a basic cleaning or else you might regret it like I did.
