Dr. Lentz and his awesome staff are extremely professional and compassionate. I had to have two root canals with in 6 weeks of each other and that alone was overwhelming. I was treated with such kindness that even though incredibly uncomfortable (having your mouth open for nearly 2 hours is painful) I am glad to say the I feel better than ever.
I love how they call to check on you after your procedure. I would totally refer anyone in need of Endodontics treatment to reach out to them.

I had a root canal done a few weeks ago and couldn't have had a better experience anywhere else! Dr. Gupta did the procedure, with Britnie assisting. They both were amazing!! The front desk staff was very friendly, making you feel at ease the minute you walk in! When i was done, I was ready to give my 5 star review! I highly recommend this practice! 😊

The customer service and dental expertise at Annapolis Endodontics is the best I’ve ever had! I am one of those people who have always been terrified of going to the dentist. I didn’t know what to expect at my first appointment, but everyone was so welcoming, caring, and patient. I had much less anxiety and pain than ant other offices, and I owe that to Dr. Lentz and his staff. Dr. Lentz uses some type of high-tech equipment for root canals. I have never seen an Endodontist use that equipment before. I really liked it because knowing that they’re using the best technology to work on my mouth is very important to me - better precision might translate into better outcomes/less pain, especially since the tooth is small and in a very sensitive area. In my case, it did. He took his time to explain everything to me before starting. He took the time to numb the area to make sure I wouldn’t be in any pain. He provided thorough patient education on aftercare. He and his dental assistant were very nice; they spoke to me to keep me calm during the procedure and kept checking to make sure I wasn’t in any pain. I decided then, that even if I move to another area in the DMV, if I ever need another root canal, I’m coming back to Dr. Lentz’s office.
Later that evening after my appointment, I was beating myself up because I did not listen to his instructions. He told me to go and pick up my medication at the pharmacy immediately after the procedure. Instead, I went straight back home to go to work. So one word of advice is to follow his instructions to the tee if you don’t want to experience the pain I did that evening, after the numbing medication wore off. Instead of just going to get my meds, I freaked out like a dummy and called the after hours number. Sometimes it takes a doctor/dentist a while to call back, but Dr. Lentz was notified and on the phone in minutes. That told me he’s really dedicated to his patients. I appreciate that! He seems to be a really great doctor. I felt horrible later for bothering him at 8 PM at night. I picked up my medication, took them at the pharmacy, and before I reached home, all of the pain was gone. I was completely shocked! I should’ve listened to his instructions, so lesson learned! if I could give you any advice, it would be to follow his instructions exactly if you don’t want to be in any pain after your root canal. No doubt there are many good Endodontists out there, but I can assure you after having seen a few in my time, you’re going to be hard-pressed to find one like Dr. Lentz AND a staff like his. I’ve also worked in healthcare for years and been a patient who’s visited many medical offices.
These folks are like a well-oiled machine. And I’ll put money on that. His staff are just some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They even called and checked on me the day after the procedure to make sure everything was okay. I called today because I misplaced my next appointment card. The front desk answered promptly, provided the information, then took the time to ask me about any pain and if everything was okay. Then she answered a question I had. These folks really care about their patients. That’s so heart-warming to see. The VA sent me here. I am going to contact them and thank them, then let them know they should send all veterans local to the area here for endodontic care! If you’re looking for a highly skilled, patient, and caring Endodontist as well as an office where the staff really care about their patients, you HAVE to try this office. You won’t be disappointed. AND you’ll be out of pain in no time! I highly recommend Annapolis Endodontics!

I cannot speak highly enough about my root canal experience with Dr. Dentz. The procedure took about one hour and before I left the office, I took one Motrin. Two hours later, I felt well enough to have a light dinner and I had a great night sleep. I never felt any pain, and that’s fantastic. I was able to resume all my regular activities the next day.
