I've experienced challenges with resolving billing discrepancies at Appell Dental Group. Specifically, I've encountered situations where I paid out-of-pocket for services prior to insurance claims being processed, as per their financial policy. Subsequently, there were instances where it appeared that both my direct payment and insurance reimbursement were collected for the same services.

I found the office's resolution process for these billing concerns to be unsatisfactory. I would recommend that current or new patients carefully review their billing statements and insurance explanations of benefits to ensure accuracy or go elsewhere.

I cannot say enough great things about my dentist, Dr. Joel. As a dentist myself, I rarely get to experience being in the chair as I am the one helping and fixing people’s teeth.

Today I had a very difficult crown done and was a bit nervous since I knew exactly what I was in for. Dr Joel painlessly performed a very difficult crown preparation and put me back together as if nothing happened. I was even able to continue working the rest of the day! 5 stars and many thumbs up!!!

Dr. Lester Appell, my main dentist, is always knowledgeable, caring and honest. He always follows up with me after receiving a treatment or procedure which I had never experiences in other dental offices.

Dr. Aaron Appell, who I have been seeing for Invisalign care, always provides thorough information of my Invisalign treatments, follow ups and expectations. We’ve been seeing Dr. Aaron for years and the entire family loves getting their cleanings at Appell Dental! One of our kids goes to school in Florida and had a terrible experience with a dental practice there - they tried to upsell him $1,000 worth of unnecessary services. Now he only goes to Dr. Aaron while he’s home. They’re honest, gentle and service is top notch. Highly recommend!!
