Detailed Introduction

Ascension Seton Dental Clinic, located at 3267 S 16th St #101, Milwaukee, WI, is a vital part of the larger Ascension healthcare system. This clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive oral healthcare services to individuals who face barriers to accessing dental care within their communities, with a strong focus on serving uninsured and underinsured patients, as well as children in poverty. The clinic offers a wide array of dental services, including preventive care (such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants), basic restorative care (fillings), extractions, pediatric dental care, and urgent dental care for immediate needs like pain, swelling, and infection. They also emphasize prenatal dental care, recognizing the link between maternal and infant health. A key aspect of Ascension Seton Dental Clinic's mission is community outreach. They operate the "Smart Smiles" program, a school-based oral health initiative that provides screenings and preventive care directly to children in schools across Southeastern Wisconsin. For those requiring further treatment, they facilitate referrals to their mobile dental clinic or the brick-and-mortar clinic. They also partner with organizations like Outreach Community Health Centers to expand access to care in underserved areas of Milwaukee, including the North and South Sides, where dental care access is often limited. Ascension Seton Dental Clinic is committed to addressing the significant need for dental services among vulnerable populations, aiming to improve overall health outcomes by tackling dental pain and promoting good oral hygiene from an early age. They accept Medicaid/BadgerCare and offer a sliding fee scale for uninsured patients, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent individuals from receiving necessary care. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcome, especially for urgent care needs.

I can't believe the horrible experience I just had at this clinic. I went in the clinic with a toothache, and unbaring pain on the right side of my mouth. I was serviced by Dr. Labinski. Who was very rude and aggressive. When "testing" what was wrong I expressed what areas my mouth were in pain.

With tears in my eyes this main aggressively begin to tap each tooth I showed him. After I begun balling tears he pushed my hand out of the way and told me to move and begin to tap harder. Then this man ask me what am I crying for? Like I just came to the dentsit for the fun of it. He was so rude, and showed no compassion. His assistant finally gave me some tissue. After bringing pain to the front of my mouth told me he couldn't service me because they couldn't provide the help for what I needed.

As I was leaving talking to his assistant he slammed down some papers and told me to sign, mean while I'm balling tears telling him I've tried many medicine and home remedies to reduce pain. I didn't understand his frustration or aggressive tone with a client who was in severe pain. I left in worse pain then when I entered, and very traumatized from this experience. No human on earth deserved the treatment I recieved today from Dr. Labinski.

I been having really bad tooth pain for 3 days and finally I was ready to chop my head off. . . I called and they had no appts available but if someone cancelled they would call me.

I called again about an hr later just balling my eyes out and the lady said just come in and we will figure it out! Yaaaaas! The staff was soooooo nice and the Dr was very gentle and sweet plus they played some awesome music and I got the tooth out! This office is the best! Loved every moment I was there. .

I went to the dental part and I was seen by I believe Dr. Seton and he was so pleasant as well as his assistant. I was rather nervous and usually when I go to the dentist my blood pressure is really high. He calmed me down and he gave me not one, not two but three options to help me with my situation. I was greeted professionally, every one was up beat at 730am.

Usually you get the attitude as if they hate you came in and disturb the time the were on face page or just simply texting. I really appreciated the atmosphere. Keep up the good work. I almost forgot ,, he also gave me some medicine . That was a rating of 10

I am so grateful this place exists. I went in this past Wednesday after dealing with severe tooth pain that went on for weeks and made it difficult to function. I was seen the same day, was informed my back wisdom tooth was the problem, and about an hour later they were able to extract it for me.

Every person on staff that I dealt with was very kind and made my first tooth extraction comfortable and eased my anxiety. The relief I’ve felt in the past couple of days has seriously been life changing.
