Detailed Introduction

Aspen Dental is a prominent dental support organization (DSO) that provides administrative and business support services to a vast network of independently owned and operated dental practices under the Aspen Dental brand. While each individual Aspen Dental office is owned by a licensed dentist, Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI) offers centralized support in areas like marketing, staffing, billing, insurance negotiations, and technology. This model allows dentists to concentrate on patient care, while the DSO handles the operational aspects of the business. The Aspen Dental network offers a wide array of dental services, ranging from preventative care to complex restorative and cosmetic procedures. These include routine dental check-ups, cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, bridges, and a strong emphasis on dentures and dental implants. They also provide cosmetic dentistry options like teeth whitening and veneers, as well as oral surgery services such as tooth extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and bone grafting. Many locations, including the Maplewood, MN office, strive to offer comprehensive care "under one roof" to meet diverse patient needs. Aspen Dental is known for its focus on making dental care accessible, often targeting individuals who may not have a regular dental provider or face financial barriers. They aim to provide transparent pricing and flexible payment options, including accepting most insurance plans and offering their own dental savings plan. The organization also has community outreach initiatives, such as the "Healthy Mouth Movement," which provides free dental care to U.S. veterans. The Maplewood, MN location of Aspen Dental, situated at 3088 White Bear Ave, St Paul, MN 55109, operates with the same principles, offering a full range of services. Patients have generally reviewed this specific location positively for its efficiency, customer service, and the quality of its denture and other dental work.

Well first I don't have insurance, I selected this location as I searched for emergency dental care. I selected "emergency visit" and "no insurance" after I scheduled I got a text asking for insurance information. i decided to call and see if they were going to need payment in full or if they could just bill me. It was a $29 fee due at service. Not bad at all but it's an emergency and I don't get paid for a week. But got someone to borrow me the money. I get there they tell me card payment only but never said anything about it when I called. They apologized and said they need to work on their communication skills. Then they want to do an expensive panorama x-ray in addition to the regular ones.

I told them no but they said I had to order I couldn't be seen. I've already had the pictures done. I was here for an emergency issue not regular dental care. They didn't care and said they have to do a full exams as if I was exatabling care regardless of the fact I had no intention of ever coming back. She proceeded with the pictures even though it caused more pain from the part of my mouth that was the reason of the visit with was a front tooth and the pictures were not needed. Then she told me she wouldn't give me any antibiotics for the infection my options were a deep cleaning in 2 sessions or double extraction. I haven't eaten in 3 days and she wanted me to come back at a later time to have them pulled or deep cleaned but offered nothing for pain other then Tylenol and ibuprofen which I'm allergic too. . .

I got up and took the cover thing off as I was wasting my time as they couldn't help me with anything and wasted my money since I already new that tooth would have to be removed eventually but I just wanted something to ease the pain or clear the infection. They offered payment plans and checked for just the double extraction was $505 with a payment plan at 200 down $7 per week but that didn't include the partial denture I'd need. Don't recommend if your poor. However if you got money and don't mind a lot of pain they are great. I had a bad experience but that doesn't mean you will. The front desk lady's were absolutely sweet.

I had such a great experience at Aspen Dental and truly appreciate the care I received. Dr. Ashley was amazing, professional, kind, and so attentive. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire visit. I also had the pleasure of meeting Manar, and I absolutely love interacting with her! She brought such a warm and positive energy!

Very disappointed with the service i received yesterday. The hygienist did not properly clean my teeth. I had paid an up-charge to do the deep cleaning and I did not get that done. The cleaning wasn't even compared to a regular cleaning. All she did was some scraping followed by the chloride.

The session lasted a few minuits, unlike my previous deep cleaning sessions. The hygienist did not care about water splashing all over my face and neck when rinsing. I mentioned this to the dentist that i didn't received a proper cleaning session and she did not seem to support my statement either. I will not be going back to this clinic.

Amazing dental clinic. I usually hate the dentists office and honestly have not been in the past 4 years. Now I wanna go here all the time since coming here for an emergency extraction. The people here rock and are all amazingly friendly, the service is top notch and they are so efficient with scheduling and appointments.

Transparency has been great too. It truly feels like they care for you here. Awesome people, awesome place, who says that about a freaking dentist’s office?!! GO HERE!! Your teeth will thank you, I know mine are 🫡🦷
