Had a good experience had x-rays cleaning, and the doctor said our x-rays showed that our feelings were good. I like the idea of being able to meet with the insurance person after our appointment. He explained many things that were helpful to us.

I am very happy with my first contact at Aspen Dental. They worked me in on Saturday as I had a tooth ache. They quickly determined it had to be pulled and It was done two days later. Everything was very professional and done in a business like matter. I would rate them very high.

This is honestly the worst experience I have had at a dental office, and I am generally a nice and understanding person. However, I scheduled an appointment for a wisdom teeth removal consultation for 1:30 PM. I showed up at 1:20 PM and completed paperwork and sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes (2:00PM) without being called back. Several other individuals were taken back prior to me (granted I am unaware of their appointment times), so I went to the front desk and asked when I would be able to be taken back. The receptionist went to the back and asked, came back and told me 10 more minutes. I said that's fine, honestly I was just making sure I wasn't forgotten.

I get taken back and told they were going to do a whole set of dental radiographs but I explained I just had those done at my referring dental provider and should only need the panoramic for wisdom teeth consultation. After I explained why I only needed the wisdom teeth consultation, I got the pano x-rays. Afterwards, I was taken to a chair where I waited an additional 20+ minutes for the doctor to come and take a look at my teeth. I don't even know his name (if he said it to me that is my fault for not remembering - important note I work nights so this appointment for me was in the middle of my night so I was already exhausted) but he looked at my teeth for less than 30 seconds, basically said "yeah we can take them out" after I said my primary dental provider suggested I remove them based on their location, then he basically says if I want to talk about other dental care come back, then he leaves. The whole conversation was less than 5 sentences. Then the dental assistant (who is super sweet) says she can take me up front for the estimate.

The reason I gave 1 star instead of 0 was the dental assistant and the male receptionist that helped with my estimate. Both were super sweet and the male was very helpful and I wish I remembered his name. I was also not charged today, unsure why, but we will see if I get a charge in the mail for anything. My overall experience was that I was a number that was not going to produce enough money for them, so my care was not optimal. They may have a different point of view, as every situation does, but this is my side.

Only issue I had was wait time,, other than that; the dental hygienist & dentist were Very friendly, caring! Radiologist & the young lady at the end that helped wth the insurance were also friendly! Plan to come back! Thank you!!
