When scheduling my extraction, I asked the receptionist if I could have another consultation (it was 9 months since my X-ray and things changed) she told me I didn’t need one and scheduled me for the extraction. The day of, Dr. Sugar barely even said hi before coming at me with needles to numb me, which was very traumatic. He would come in the room every few minutes and numb me again and leave. He took the metal pick and jammed it right in the painful part of my mouth.

Because I could feel it, he told me we had to stop and told me I must’ve had an infection. (Which is why I asked for the consultation beforehand) His bedside manner and the knowledge of the receptionist was absolutely atrocious, no empathy, no apology. It’s clear that all they wanted was your money. Now I’m stuck even more traumatized and anxious about the dentist than I was before.

I was very happy with my experience. All of the staff was very friendly, patient and welcoming. Dr. Mark was also amazing. I really liked how he walked me through each step of the procedure as he was doing it. He made me feel safe and at ease. My only complaint is that the price they told me on the phone was different in person.

I saw this was a common complaint in the other reviews. I was told that I was going to pay $250 when in reality I had to pay $500. After it goes through insurance I could be reimbursed but still; $250 to $500 can make or break someone. I think people would just like to know the truth and know what to expect when they come in. If we have to pay partial up front, just let us know that on the phone before we come in, so we can be prepared. Besides that, great experience!

I had to have 4 wisdom teeth removed and the process from start to finish was easy and smooth. Everyone in the office is so friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Wisdom tooth extraction here! Dr Sugar and his staff were very professional and kind to me. During the consultation, Dr Sugar spent a decent amount of time with me thoroughly explaining everything to me and answering all of my questions. I did not feel rushed at all. During the day of the extraction, the staff was very welcoming and reassuring.

There was minimal wait time, and by the time I was in the procedure room, I was getting hooked up right away while Dr Sugar was explaining some last minute things, and then I was out! The quickness definitely helped make me feel less anxious. Overall, great experience here. Do be aware that you have to pay upfront first, but they submit everything to your insurance afterwards and then you’ll get a check in the mail after the fact.
