If you’re having a dental emergency, skip this clinic and start calling offices in Virginia Beach and Norfolk immediately instead! Starting first thing Monday morning I called begging and literally crying for an emergency dental appointment. I told them how much pain I was in and how desperate I was I would take any opening with them or any of the other two dental offices in their local health system. Apparently an emergency can only be seen if someone else cancels their already schedule appointment. The receptionist told me that she would reach out to the other two offices and put me on their lists as well. I called back a second time hours later after not hearing anything and was told they’d get back in touch.

I waited the rest of the day phone in hand praying for a call that never came. The next morning still in so much pain I wasn’t able to sleep the night before, my husband called and was told by this office they still couldn’t see me and to take me to the ER. To the ER… for a dental issue? Remember how the receptionist said she was reaching out to the other offices? A dang lie. Tuesday morning I decided I’d call the other offices myself. Franktown didn’t even answer their phone and Eastville reception said “oh I wish you would’ve called earlier because we actually had two cancellations today that have since been filled” (I called within 15 minutes of opening) If the original receptionist had actually done what she said she would I would’ve been able to be seen Tuesday morning.

However I ended up having to drive across the CBBT after over a day of waiting on this office in emergency circumstances and excruciating pain because they don’t have it together. I was able to be seen by the FIRST random office I called on the other side of the bridge immediately, which got me seen Tuesday afternoon. I was later told by multiple healthcare workers it was a “blessing in disguise” the community health system didn’t end up working on my teeth because they are incompetent. I finally got calls back from this office on Wednesday AFTER my husband left a negative review.

My sons doctor is amazing but I can never get him in to be seen because everytime I call when he's sick they tell me to go to express care which is a 2 hour or longer wait. This center needs to find a way to open up sick hours and not keep turning their patients away to urgent or express cares.

Went for a deep cleaning. They numbed me up and forgot me. 45 minutes later I gave up and left. I recieved a call from the manager and was basically told that they were only 20 minutes late.

I was also told that this could happen again if I came back. So I am basically left with the attitude that even though I am paying it doesn't matter because it will happen again. I recommend going across the bay for dental work, unless you don't mind left for 20+ minutes
