BEWARE!! A MUST READ!! Dr. Voier will leave you toothless and with decay under crowns for months!!! I sadly have to write a bad review on Dr. Douglas Voiers. He was my dentist for 3 years while my Husband serviced for the Government in Ohio. He was wonderful at the time and proposed a treatment plan for several crowns. I accepted treatment and had several issues with one crown. The gum around the crown was irritated, bleeding, and was just unhappy. Come to find out after several visits and x-rays there was cement under my gums. Finally, they got cement out after a lot of pain and the crown seem to be fine. Until, I had a cleaning done a year later with another Dentist. This is where all the disappointment comes into play: I reside in California not Ohio and Dr. Voiers, has giving my new office and myself the run around for several months. Dr. Voiers is NOT standing by his work, BEWARE of this (reason for my review). Dr. Voiers office was informed June 29th, 2015 that the crown I had an issue with at his office (crowns should last 5 years minimum) just came off. .

Yes, literally just came off while flossing June 26th, 2015 because it had so much decay underneath. Dr. Voiers requested proof that my crowns has decay. Which was reasonable and understandable so my new office provided x-rays to Dr. Voiers office. . . They losted it. . . This went on for a good TWO months Dr. Voiers office saying they do NOT have everything but my new office keeps providing them everything they asked for and even started to CC me on everything so Dr. Voiers office can NOT say this anymore?? Finally, his office agrees they have everything nowbut my file is still on Dr. Voiers desk?? He is now requesting a treatment plan from my office in writing via email. It's clear both crowns need to be replaced?? My office requested several time he contact my new Dentist but Dr. Voiers is so busy at his office that he does NOT have the time to speak to him. I understand requesting information and x-rays but it's very clear there is decay and issues with the two crowns he placed.

I honestly can NOT believe I'm going through this with Dr. Voiers and his office. Any respectable Dentist would see there is any issue and stand by his work. Instead, Dr. Voiers puts his patients through this!! Till this day Dr. Voiers has not resolved the issue with the two crowns and it's now September 3rd, 2015. Meanwhile Dr. Voiers will leave me with no crown and decay under another while my file sits on his desk looking pretty. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Dr. Voiers refuses to immediately resolve this and meanwhile my crown has decay and I may now need a possible root canal after waiting on him for so long. . . I possibly need to take this further and not be so kind. . .
