Made an appointment six weeks ago. Gave them all my insurance information. Only for them to call me the day before appointment. To tell me I'm out of network. Waisted my time and my son who came in town from college for the appointment.

Most people would agree that going to the Dentist is no fun but at Avalon dental of Christiana, they definitely make the process as painless as possible. The front desk staff is always pleasant and good about any rescheduling or if you're running a little behind. My hygienist Brittany is excellent. I have some staining on by bottom front teeth due to smoking and drinking coffee.

She never lectures me, just gets in there removes the stains and I always feel better about my smile when I leave. I would definitely recommend this dentistry to anyone in the area.

Below is my original review but now they have lost me as a patient. This place is so unorganized and so unprofessional. I don’t even understand how they even are in business. No one ever really answers the phone. You could be on hold for 30 minutes and the doctors/owner doesn’t really give a crap about anything but they won’t think twice to take any money from you.

I have only been there for three months and I’ve had so many unnecessary issues from them regarding scheduling, payment issues and my crown and abutment operation. It seems like nobody really knows what they’re doing at this location and I regret ever coming in here. I will NEVER recommend coming to this location ever. !!!

My first experience at Avalon Dental was great. I received a really warm welcome as a new patient. I've been a patient at two of the top dentist offices in DE none of them can match the level of customer service I received at Avalon Dental.

They expected my insurance and worked out easy and affordable payment model. I've visited the Christiana and Newport offices, both sites were really quaint with a nice beach or harbor theme. Shout out to the doctor who moonlights as an interior decorator!
