I had heard a lot of negatives about Dr. Bella's office in Waynesburg, but had no personal experience, until now. My 18 y/o grandson went to this dentist a few times, service okay. Then he had an appointment for a filling and was running late due to construction traffic in Waynesburg. He called them to say he was running late and why. He showed up 15 minutes after his appointment time. One person at the front desk said they would try to get him in, but another person immediately intervened and said, no, he is late, he can just reschedule.

Then she came to the desk and told him he owed a $25 cancellation fee. Not knowing any better and being intimated by her nasty tone, he agreed to pay the fee. When he pulled out a CC to pay, she then told him if he was using a card there would be a 4% additional fee. He paid the money. I called them to discuss that while he was late and I understand if they could not see him, he did not cancel his appointment and should not have to pay $25. I also questioned the 4% additional fee. Then I got a lecture about how everything cost more now, we pay more for groceries and gas and that she is only doing what Dr.

Bella told her to do. So apparently, poor Dr. Bella is not making enough money as a dentist and needs to charge patients a cancellation fee if they run late and also a 4% fee if they want to use a CC. Needless to say, we will not being going back to this office.

Lauren was a phenomenal hygienist. She is very gentle, thorough and asks if you’re doing okay. The rest of the office staff was pleasant. Very fast check in.

0 Stars if i could! Do not do ANY business with these people! Their billing staff is INCREDIBLY rude and SUPER unprofessional! After calling them and my dental insurance company multiple times today about a billing issue regarding services that were denied payment, it was determined that an appeal needed to be filed by Bella to the insurance company to correct the problem and then the services would be 100% covered. I called back to explain this situation to the billing department at Bella. After being told yet again that I needed to take it up with my insurance company and not them. .

. I told the lady that I had already done that. I then requested that an appeal be filed by Bella to my insurance as instructed. After being placed on hold for several minutes the lady came back on and stated that they have records of me having these services performed and that I am 100% liable for the payment of those charges.

I tried to again explain what the insurance company had told me needed to be done but she kept forcefully talking over me and then just hung up the phone on me! This is not the first incident I have had with their billing department trying to wrongfully charge me instead of my insurance company for services. In fact there have been prior incidents where they tried to bill both me AND the insurance company so they could get paid twice! I can only imagine how many people they have gotten to pay phony and incorrect bills by sheer intimidation. It's not right and I hope the truth of their illegal practices eventually comes to the light!

I’ve been a patient for all of my 37 years at this office and now my son who is 7 has been a patient since birth! I can’t say enough good about this office honestly! They have up front policies and practices and I especially love Kim cleaning mine and my son’s teeth! Her bedside manner is on point for us country folk🫶🏼 also, Dr. Abby has been phenomenal with us as well!! 🪥🦷♥️
