I can’t say enough good things about Dr Michael Bender and his staff. If you’re looking for a dentist in the Elgin area, consider his office that has experience and knowledge of good dentistry and care for one’s dental health. I was impressed by their gentle manner and working speed while I was in the chair. Any of my anxiety was quickly whisked away by his welcoming staff and effective pain management. I had a full overdue cleaning, some fillings all together with some impressive cosmetic repair done over three speedy and virtually painless visits. I feel the value in services rendered.

Pricing was fair and reasonable. Thank you Dr. Bender and wonderful staff. I look forward in having a wonderful dental relationship.

Was having a bit of a crisis this morning and Dr. Benders office and staff were all quick to accommodate me and my needs. Shout out to their front desk Ladies who were so kind, even after I spilt my coffee all over my fresh paperwork.

Like most, dentistry makes me a bit anxious - so I was quick to get out of the chair. I did notice a small imperfection in our work today that I’m hoping is something that can be a quick easy fix on my next visit on 4/21.

Our visit(s) were to say the least very disappointing. Yes, we both had x-rays and a standard cleaning, but without the option of a fluoride treatment. Imagine our surprise when our bill for the two appointments amounted to $832. 00. Even more confusing, we were informed the office would soon be reaching out to let us know the prices would be dropping & saving us some money. Why not the day of our appointment? I was also informed of the cost for two crowns, was asked to sign off on the paperwork, told I would be given a receipt, but wasn't.

I explained that I would wait to see what the new rates would be before I made future appointments. Sure enough, this morning I received a text alerting me our next appointments were already scheduled for November 24, 2025. We will not be returning. Please do not reach out to us.

I took both me and my 4 year old son to see Dr. Bender. Dr. and staff made going to the dentist a great experience for us both. My son especially LOVED the fish and fish tank. Since he had no cavities his picture was taken and was added to their wall of the no cavities club and he felt so special we talked about it all the way home! We will definitely be back 😁
