Dr. Smith is a highly distinguished and extensively trained prosthodontist and maxillofacial prosthodontist, making her one of only approximately 350 such specialists globally. Her academic background includes graduating as Class Valedictorian from both Penn State University (Eberly College of Science, Pre-Medicine) and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with multiple awards for academic and clinical excellence. Following her dental degree, Dr. Smith completed a three-year Advanced Prosthodontics Residency Program at UCLA, followed by an additional one-year fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics, also at UCLA. This rigorous training equipped her with specialized knowledge and skills in the restoration and replacement of teeth and oral/maxillofacial tissues. Prior to establishing Berks Prosthodontics in 2015, Dr. Smith served for seven years as the first female Clinical Director of the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, the world's oldest clinic dedicated to treating children with facial birth defects. She was also Head of the Department of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and Prosthetics at the clinic and a Faculty Instructor in Prosthodontics for the General Practice Residency Program at Lancaster General Hospital. I've been going to Berks Prosthodontics for several years now. I'm extremely satisfied with the service that I receive from them. The entire office staff, including Dr. Smith is wonderful.

I trust them completely with all of my dental care, from cleaning (very thorough) to more advanced work, such is my recent bridge work. In addition, the office seems to be equipped with the most advanced technology. Good dentists that you can trust are hard to find (from my experience) and I found one. I only wish I had found them sooner!

After spending thousands and thousands of dollars at a big chain dental place who totally totally messed my mouth up and ripped me off. Dr. Andrea Smith and her amazimg wonderful team put my mouth back together. They are the best at any dental problem you may have. They will fix you or send you in the right direction. Elaine the receptionist is the most joyful person in the world.
