I only share reviews when I absolutely feel like I need to. It has been a while since I had gotten a cleaning, you know as mom‘s we take care of ourselves last. Jody (the dental hygienist) did such a wonderful job, cleaning my teeth and removing all the plaque! When Dr. came in to check my teeth, he found that one of my fillings had fell out and offered to fix it right there on the spot.

For me that’s impressive because it’s one less day I have to take off of work, it was greatly appreciated and he did a fantastic job! Not only did I not feel the stick of the needle when he went to numb me, I felt no pain at all! He worked so quickly I couldn’t even believe I was done when he told me it was complete. This was my first visit to this office, my prior dentist closed down that I had been to years ago, but I’m really glad I found Bethel family dentistry and I’ll stick with them.

Went here for just simple fillings not very professional stopping in between to work on another patient and on top of that my fillings are all jacked up have to pay out of pocket to get rootcanals somewhere else now because I’m not going back and I agree he’s rude not in the he’s honest way in the interrupted me when I was trying to tell him some of my dental history because he tried to blame it-all on soda drinking

The staff here is great first off, secondly yes. The Doctor did come off as a bit rude/brooding at first. that is to say, after actually listening to his instructions and some initial problems Dr.

Minarchek opened up and became a much friendlier dentist, two months since my initial work started and my crowns/fillings are holding up very well. Chances are if you have problems with Minarchek is because you don't take effort to take care of your teeth. that's all it took to completely change his attitude

Its a cash grab. If you do not have the insurance they're looking for or the cash then they do not want you there. If they can make more money pulling your teeth instead of a filling on a tooth then they will. If it means you don't get extra gauze for your bleeding mouth as you leave and he saves more money then good for them. If its going to cost him more time on the root canal than he wants and cost him visits then he will pick and choose which one he wants to do and send you somewhere else. The University of Cincinnati claims the tooth needs pulled but he claims the tooth needs a root canal. He also started shouting to forget what they said which may be correct and good advice but by the way he is talking to you you cannot tell if he wants to kick you out or help you?? The moment I got back into the office the assistant Tina's voice totally changed and and got aggressive and she started panicking asking me "didn't you say you were in pain??" multiple times and I kept saying yeah I have been and I missed a day of work and then she began to raise her voice at me. At this point I knew I was in for it.

She rushed me over to x-ray machine and did it as fast as she could and I had to find myself back to my room. When she came back into the room she tried to put my apron on so fast that she stabbed me in the face with her thumb but she didn't feel much remorse because it was like she knew the dentist owned the place and nobody cares. Then she asked the dentist about a separate tooth and he started raising his voice because he couldn't figure out what tooth it was on the first guess and at this point they were just shouting. Then he started shouting to not talk about that tooth and only talk about the one we are in need to fix today. I personally was not going to mention the other tooth until we were finished with the problem that I came there for. While he was doing the procedure he was very aggressive about things like when to suck on the air tube and when not to and to make it even worse he wasn't even sucking it all up. His assistant Tina let it all run down my face. .

. It was by far the most awful experience I have ever had but I know it could be worse. I did not get asked if I would like a follow up appointment. I did not get extra gauze after the tooth was pulled the dentist Michael claimed he put something on the wound to stop blood clots and the bleeding within 10 minutes and after an hour later of a mouth fulls of blood I called in and Tina said oh yeah we have extra gauze here if you wanna come back and get some. At this point I denied and let them know I am going to the better business bureau with all the details from my visit. I am actually disappointed because the first time I met Michael he was rocken out to rock music and seemed a bit aggressive but also seemed like he was about getting things done and a straight shooter so I had admired that about him. But unfortunately at this point they have show me that they really don't care or respect how you feel in their office nor do they respect your trust.
