The two ladies at the front desk immediately assumed I was a different client and barked at me as I walked in the front door, " You didn't remember that we were going to see you tomorrow?" I politely had to let her know that this was my first time at their office. She laughed it off and said "Oh I thought you were someone else. " I wish I went along with my gut to not go back to that office as I realize ignoring your instincts will always land you in bad places. Dr. Pealock on first impression was nice and friendly very talkative and pleasant. For the first work done I had a filling replaced. As I was checking out the clerk often stopped to speak in Spanish to the other dest clerk laughing and interrupting the processing of setting up for my next appointment. If you have ever had dental work you know the only thing on your mind is resting and healing immediately. I noticed she held and lengthy conversation in Spanish with another client as he was leaving the office cutting off the continuation of setting up my next appointment dates. Only when he left did she returned to setting up the dates. We arranged that my next visit would be the continued fillings on the other side and the last visit would be the cleaning. The second visit I was informed that they would not be able to do the filling but had already scheduled me for a cleaning instead. I was eager to get the work done but caught off that the appointment had changed without my being made aware.

I expressed this to the lady who did my cleaning and she encouraged me to speak to Dr. Pealock about the misunderstanding and agreed completely that the way in which the setting was dealt with should have been dealt with much more professionally. I fear that this was my second big mistake. I did speak with Dr. Pealock and he immediately was offended that I had a complaint at all and took the side of his assistance. I realized he was upset when he turned bright red and his pleasant disposition fell like the weight of a brick hitting the floor. The energy changed in the room and he nervously seemed to defend in frustration the change of appointments. I let him know that the pain and anticipation I was in from the work that still need to be done was the only reason I knew I would have preferred to be called before arrival. He in the end said he would talk to the two clerks and would see me the next visit for the finishing work. On my third visit the clerk who had most of the unprofessional behaviors took me into the room and did my set up. I let Dr. Pealock know that I did not want him to have any animosity towards me and I wanted to trust him as he very mutely nodded his head without looking at me and began to prepare for the procedure. The entire energy was interesting as he performed my second filling and there was much less communication than the first visit understandably.

I am noticing now that the flawless work done the first visit was not replicated on the left Side of my mouth. After he was done he said I may feel pain sensitivity in relation to hot and cold temperatures and that he was sorry for the mis-happenings that occurred in the office. Within two three weeks I noticed a slight pain but chalked it up to chewing sensitivity and also was honestly afraid to go back into the office. I now a few months later am experiencing increased sensitivity and today have realized a horrible smell coming from the second set of teeth he worked on and bleeding. I have called the office last Friday and was told he would be called back to the office but if he didn't call back he would return my call today (Monday). I have not received a call back. Being that the work was done right before COVID19 I am trying to be understanding. At this time am very concerned and slightly in awe of the possible improper work done in the mist of emotional frustration by Dr. Pealock. I was recommended to him by acquaintances and am sad to say that I am not pleased. I think everyone should be aware of the levels of unprofessionalism before considering having work done in this establishment.
