I used to have such fear and procrastination about going to the dentist. Dr. Johnson and his staff have changed that for me. I expect state-of-the-art equipment and technical expertise but for me a dental experience void of fear with a positive result requires more than that. Dr. Johnson’s patient clear explanations of options and procedures, his confident knowledge and his kind demeanor gave me a calm confidence I never before had at the dentist.

His technical expertise along with his artistic eye gave me a very positive result. Their Dental Savings Plan works great for me as well. Thank you Dr. Johnson and all your staff for creating a welcoming, joyful environment. I am so pleased and grateful. Katherine Henjum

Dr. Johnson and his staff were wonderful with our two kids on their first visit ever to the dentist! Very welcoming and friendly! Everyone explained what they were going to do in a way the kids could understand and were very good if the kids were nervous or scared.

The kids keep asking when they get to go back and lucky them, it's later this month! I highly recommend the Smile Center for all your dental needs.

First I must say, I do take some blame in the this situation. I am naive to how the dental world works. I had a filling done December 2020, I knew the filling wasn’t done properly as I could always feeling it poking my tongue, but I ignored it as I was never prepared for what would happen 3years later. As I was flossing, my filling fell out. Yes, it literally fell out my mouth. Took me a while to figure it out because never in my years of going to the dentist have I ever had a filling just fall out. Previously, I had stopped going to this dentist because their then office manager was so rude and disrespectful. I then started seeing another dentist. When my filling fell out, I chose to go back to this dentist because well, he did it, and clearly it wasn’t done properly. I walked in, explained what happened and the young lady asked for my insurance.

I said to her, why would you need my insurance if the filling just fell out, that’s not supposed to happen. She says nothing, and then I was called to go back and see the dentist. After seeing the dentist, (whom solved nothing because he was about to leave for vacation) I was told to pay $141. I said for? I was told for seeing the dentist. I told them I was under the understanding that the dentist was taking a look at his work to determine how it would be fixed. Anyways after back and forth they said go and the office manager would reach out. The office manager called me, accusing me of being a theif and how I came in to be seen and didn’t want to be paid. Claiming who gets service and don’t want to pay for it! WHY WOULD I NOT BE TOLD THAT THE FILLING FALLING OUT WOULD COST ME MORE? If they knew they were going to charge me, they should have told me, I could have gone to the dentist I currently see. I told them I specifically came back there because I knew he did my filling. And in the Dr.

Johnson’s words “sorry I skip lunch to see you”. Something tells me this is their business practice of getting ppl in the chair then hitting them with prices and then calling them a thief to bully them in paying. Guess what, like many people, I am struggling and I am broke. Even if I wanted to give you $141, I don’t have it, there is no where to get it from. I only chose to come see you because I thought the doctor would fix his mistake. For a filling to fall out, it wasn’t done correctly, but I was told it fell out because I don’t care for my teeth. I brush my teeth, I go to the dentist, I don’t smoke, drink etc. So, call me a thief or whatever you want, if you knew you were going to charge me to look at previous work, you should have told me so, before seeing me.

Client beware - I hadn’t been to the dentist in about three years (because of COVID) and I finally went in (I brush twice a day but sometimes lack on flossing). The hygienist was nice, but the dentist did not explain anything. Instead, the hygienist had to tell me I “had 13” cavities and sent me over to set up an appointment to fill everything. I was shocked and confused.

I wasn’t shown my X-rays or explained why/what exactly they wanted to do. Instead, they wanted me to schedule my new appointment and pay thousands WITH insurance to fill essentially my entire mouth. The next day I went back in to get my X-rays and got a second opinion from another dentist in town. I have two cavities and 5 watch spots, which doesn’t even add up to 13.

Not to mention, they charge so much that my insurance (where they are listed as providers with no charge for cleanings, X-rays and exams) didn’t cover the entire bill for just the initial cleaning and exam. Don’t go here, they seem money hungry and will take advantage of you if you let them.
