I went to another dentist that offered a discount through my work, and after being examined by the dentist, she let me know I had a cavity, and got right into booking me for a filling appointment. I didn't book because I couldn't afford a filling at the time, but when I went to Blackhurst Dental a while later for a routine checkup, Dr.

Blackhurst informed me of the same cavity, but said "This cavity is so small, I don't want to fill it, unless you REALLY want me to. If you brush regularly, it won't get bigger and your tooth will be fine. " His honesty and openness are appreciated.

I've been visiting Dr. Blackhurst's office for more than 10 years now. He is a great dentist that really knows his stuff and wants you to know why he makes the decisions he does.

After 20+ years without two of my adult teeth I got dental implants and one of them had a bit of an angle I was worried about it and he sat down and explained what had happened and what he needed to do to make sure that the crowns and abutments would fit the implant just right. And the implants feel great! His staff is also great to work with
