I would stay away from Dr. Shin. I had an initial consult and cleaning with him a few months ago. I was given a treatment plan for a "deep" cleaning, so his hygenist informed me that I'd only be receiving a "partial" standard cleaning that day because "there is no reason to do the entire cleaning since you're getting a deep cleaning in a few weeks". I said I wanted the full standard cleaning that day if that was what I was being charged for. I asked to speak to Dr. Shin about it and he doubled-down on how I didn't need the full standard cleaning, but when I asked why I would be charged full price for it, he became very defensive and attempted to assuage my concerns be accusing me of "not understanding" the issue.

. . but to me the issue was simply about him charging for something he wasn't providing. Only after I demanded the he provide what I was paying for did he very reluctantly tell his hygenist to perform the full standard cleaning. I left the office after scheduling 2 more appointments for the deep cleaning. When I arrived at the office a few weeks later (after taking a day off of work), the receptionist said "Oh sorry, we canclelled your appointments. We sent you a letter.

" No text, no phone call, no email. A letter. When I got home I checked the mailbox. In the letter it said Dr. Shin is declining to complete my treatment.

Have the best time getting my teeth cleaned here. Feels like hanging out with friends. They are extremely efficient and it’s obvious that everyone here is a professional at what they do. I want to sincerely thank Dr. Shin for fixing my crown! I had been dealing with this issue for over a year, and my previous doctor was unable to resolve it. Because of that experience, I was very cautious when searching for a new doctor. Dr.
