The building is very nice and staff is friendly. I have been going to them for a few years now. Last time I went they told me I had a balance on my account. I asked what it was for and they told me the way my appointments fell was just within 6 months so insurance won’t cover 100%. I accepted the answer and paid.

Now after that cleaning, I was told I owe $37. I called them to ask what it was for - I never had co pays before so unsure why they started charging me. I was then told it was for “perio maintenance”. I told them I never approved this or was asked if it was acceptable. I told them moving forward I only want my normal cleaning and if any additional charges would be suggested they need to ask me first.

They would not agree to this and I was forced to switch dentists. I have never heard of any doctors performing services not approved/refused by a patient. When I called to schedule with the new dentist they said they would not force me to do anything but of course would always give suggestions. So very nice place and not a bad dentist, but make sure before receiving services you explicitly ask what services they will be providing and what charges you will be responsible for.

I had been a patient for 15 years. At a visit last year the dentist damaged something in my mouth that caused half my tongue to go numb for six months. When I asked for advice the reaction was basically …”it happens”. I stopped going there for almost a year as a result, but recently decided to give them another try.

During a cleaning, after the hygienist finished, I was left sitting in the chair for about 20 minutes for the dentist to take a final look. The office wasn’t busy, but I was left waiting. Unfortunately I had another appointment and couldn’t stay any longer so I apologized to the receptionist and told them I had to leave. The dentist was in his office as I walked past, not working on a patient.

A few minutes later the receptionist called and told me they were canceling my future appointments for not being respectful of the dentist time, and that I was obligated to give the dentist a full hour for a cleaning. My family and I will be seeking professional service elsewhere.

If I could rate this dental office 10 stars I would!!! I was taken into the dental chair on time. This place was super clean! Everyone was pleasant and really nice. I would recommend to anyone! I plan to bring the whole family back. I felt welcome from everyone that I encountered. Don’t think twice just book your appointment:)
