I don’t usually leave reviews, but what happened today was incredibly upsetting and needs to be shared. I came in already anxious and told the dentist before anything even started that I have anxiety — and specifically that when I get Novacaine, I cannot be laying all the way back or I start to have panic attacks. She replied, “Well I have to lay you back a little bit. ” I told her, “I understand you have to do your job and be at a certain angle,” and I let her adjust the chair. But from that point on, I felt rushed — like I was inconveniencing her just by being honest about my anxiety. I wasn’t asking for special treatment. I was trying to work with her. But there was never a moment where she just paused to let me try to collect myself.

Not even once. As soon as the numbing jelly went in, my anxiety kicked up even more because I knew what was coming. When she gave me the first shot of Novacaine and it hurt, I started to cry — and her response was, “Oh come on. ” That was the final straw. I said, “You know what, it’s alright,” and I got up and walked out. Then I realized I left something. I came back in, only to overhear her discussing what happened with others in the office, which was completely unprofessional. I wasn’t hostile — I was overwhelmed and trying to explain myself as calmly as possible, but I was still treated like a problem.

There was no patience, no compassion, and no basic human decency in how I was handled. If you deal with anxiety or need even the slightest bit of understanding from your provider, I wouldn’t recommend this office. Dr. Martin is the worst provider I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. I should’ve taken heed to all the other negative reviews I’ve seen about this office. The only reason I gave them a chance was because they had availability that fit my schedule — but now I completely understand why. Good luck to anyone who still wants to give it a try.

I have seen Dr. Martin for a couple years now and she is just the sweetest! She has wonderful bedside manner and makes you feel extremely comfortable. She is always pleasant with a smile on her face.

Her assistant Tiffany was wonderfully friendly and treated me with tons of kindness! I would recommend Dr. Martin and her staff ten times over, they have lovely attitudes and work in a timely manner. I am happy to have a dentist that I enjoy going to visit! 😁

Outstanding experience overall! Dr. Amanda Martin, her assistant Tiffany, and Ariel (who placed my filling) all provided exceptional care during my visit.

Two days after the procedure, I’m happy to report that I have no pain—the tooth looks and feels great! Everyone in the office was kind, caring, and compassionate from start to finish. I highly recommend this Medina location to anyone looking for quality dental care!

Great office! Ariel was very informative and easy to work with. I was nervous about getting all 4 fillings done during my pregnancy and she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Super professional and friendly. Her work is amazing and have not had any issues afterwards.

Rachel is an amazing hygienist. She is very thorough with her work and explains what she is doing. A great office to come visit, with friendly front staff as well :)
