My experience at this dental office is the worse I have ever encountered. I was charged $69, when I still have my Humana Health Insurance that covers my dental care. ln the appointment, l was asked my insurance company and number they verified, and gave me appointment. I told them I am coming to see Deborah Johnson (Dentist Periodontist) as it is online with Humana pages for dentists. In the facility l was asked for my health insurance and my I.

D. It was verified and show me a room, l asked the nurse about Deborah Johnson,she said,she is not here but another Doctor will take care of you. She took my blood pressure and took pictures of my teeth. Then l was waiting for the Doctor, and I was called from the room,and told they can't do the next procedure,because my insurance won't cover it, after they have checked the insurance twice before they started,so they told me to pay $69 for what they have started from my own pocket. I was shocked 😲

I had a wonderful experience at Bright Now Dental in Stafford. My first visit was great, and I would like to especially thank the dental technician, Sayrabi. She took her time while capturing the necessary images, which we all know can be an uncomfortable process. Sayrabi made sure I was comfortable throughout, and her excellent customer service and attentiveness truly stood out. I also want to acknowledge the person who buffed my teeth—she did an exceptional job as well.

However, I did have a less positive experience with the hygienist. He came across as rude and impatient, and I didn’t appreciate the way he spoke to his colleagues. That said, I will definitely return to Bright Now Dental in Stafford. One bad apple doesn’t spoil the bunch, and the rest of the team provided excellent care. I hope this review helps someone!

I’ve contemplated writing this review for a while, but I believe it’s important to share my experience. The current work environment at the Stafford location is extremely concerning. As a former employee, I can confidently say that OSHA standards are not consistently upheld. The frequent turnover of staff—both dental assistants and doctors—should be a red flag to anyone considering employment or care here. One of the main issues stems from the management. The office manager, Tracy, creates a toxic atmosphere that affects both staff morale and patient care. She often mistreats employees, plays office politics, and has been known to intentionally hinder the productivity of doctors she doesn’t favor.

A clear example of this was the departure of Dr. Lugo, who served the office for over a decade and had a loyal patient base. Many of us believe Tracy played a direct role in his exit. Another serious concern is the lack of proper training and support for new staff. Inexperienced hires are brought on and not adequately trained in essential protocols such as infection control and proper room sanitation. Supplies are often not ordered in a timely manner, leaving the staff without the basic tools necessary to do their jobs safely and efficiently. This contributes to the inconsistent quality of care patients receive.

When Dr. Lugo and Kelly (the former office manager) were there, the office ran much more smoothly and professionally. The contrast is stark. If you’re a patient or considering becoming one, I urge you to ask: Do you want to receive care at a practice where doctors and assistants change constantly, where there is no consistency in staff, and where health and safety standards may be compromised? I hope this review helps others make informed decisions.

Ive been delaying this review because I truly didn’t want to leave a less than favorable review as we just started treatment but every appointment I’m more disappointed. The staff have little professionalism. I’ve seen them yelling and talking to one another from the room while working on my daughter. Yelling from room to room or room to hallway. One tech asked another to put a piece of candy in her mouth while she’s in the room with us. Another lady while working on my daughter’s mouth started joking with her friends outside of the room.

My only pleasant interaction so far has been with the office manager. Also the wait time is ridiculous. If you have an afternoon appointment plan to be here for 2-3 hours. This place is a joke and I regret spending money here.
