What a pleasant experience! Greeted by friendly staff, teeth checked, x-rayed and cleaned by Lindsay, who explained everything and then greeted by Dr. Eick. Formulated a treatment plan, went over possible out of pocket expenses when I checked out. Looking forward to my next appointment!

I have been going to Dr. Eick’s dental practice for several years, but never needed anything major. Her staff that does the dental cleanings have been great. One day, I called because I had eaten some popcorn and my gum area, beyond the back tooth, had become inflamed. I indicated that I thought that one of the popcorn kernels was stuck in my gum area, because I had dental flossed so much, that I thought I pushed it up in my gums. I had a fever as well. She gave me antibiotics and asked me to see an Endodontist across the parking lot.

Immediately she determined that I needed a root canal and I would have to come back to her office for a crown too. Never bothered to look for the kernel in my gums, that I explained was stuck up there. Something told me to wait before I went for the Endodontist across the parking lot, the very next day. I finished the 7 days of antibiotics and kept cleaning and flossing and by the end of the 7 days, I had no pain and the kernel, must have made its way out. I went for a second opinion and the dentist said I didn’t need a root canal or a crown. The infection was gone. I wish that Dr.

Eick would have given me the option to take the antibiotics for a week before jumping the gun and recommending an expensive root canal and a crown. She has lost my trust for this reason. I will not be returning to her dental office. Being patient saved me a lot of money and pain.

Couldn’t be happier with Brighton Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry. From the moment I walked in I was treated great. Everyone is super friendly and Dr. Birchmeier was amazing. The TV’s on the walls was an added plus.

I felt like I was at the Hilton of Dentist Office’s. I’ve had a lot of dental work done over the years, and have been to a lot of different dentists. I’ve never had an experience as pleasurable as mine was with Dr. B and staff at Brighton Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry!
