I felt I had a cavity and was experiencing pain when chewing on the right side back upper tooth area. They did a full dental X-ray , actually more X-rays than I ever had before, not sure why different than other dental offices. After checking it out, I was given option of root canal (but somewhere else as too deep etc. ), or an extraction. I had a root canal before and didn’t want another, so chose extraction. The needles were the worst, and extraction was a bit scary with pressure and noise of breaking and cutting of tooth into pieces.

The dentist was Dr. Rana, and she was lovely, would definitely use her again. The bleeding is not as severe as I might have thought. I’ve taken some pain killers I already had. She gave me a script for antibiotics to take if necessary.

Dr. David clearly explained the situation, the procedure, and what to expect during recovery. The extraction itself went quickly and with minimal discomfort. I appreciated the calm, reassuring manner and the attention to detail from both the dentist and the staff.
