My experience was horrible. I was referred here for a root canal on January 16th. While Dr. Momodu was operating on me I couldn’t feel it for a while, but eventually I could feel him drilling into my tooth so I started touching my cheek and shaking my head. He told me to stop moving so he could finish but when he went back to drilling I gently moved his hand out the way and shook my head no. I started crying because I was panicking. Me knowing that I was numbed yet I could still feel pain was terrifying. With an attitude, he said “you have no reason to be crying! I know what I’m doing!” The nurse took the sucking instrument out of my mouth and with a numb mouth, teary eyes, and a panicked state I tried my best to tell him I could feel it. Despite me clearly being panicked he was not understanding and kept his attitude when be told me to stop crying. He eventually injected me with numbing medicine twice more in my top gums, and put some medicine inside of my tooth and sat me up. We wait for a while and when he started operating on me again I could still feel it. He gave me the same attitude when I told him I could feel it, but then turned around and said “you have no reason to cry, if you’re in pain raise your finger and I’ll stop.
I won’t operate on you when you’re hurting. ” Too bad he didn’t have that attitude initially. He stopped and numbed me in my tooth again, and at this point I definitely had about 12-15 total injections of anesthesia. He told me that if it didn’t work this time he would put medicine in it and I’ll come back next week. It didn’t work and I still felt pain, so he put medicine inside the two remaining polyps that weren’t dead so that way when I came back they would hopefully be dead so he can operate. I came back next week on the 20th and he was able to operate. Once he finished the nurse told me that I can go to my primary dental care to get the crown. On February 13th I went to my primary dentist and they asked me if I felt pain in my tooth. I honestly did. When I brush and floss my teeth and when I chew certain foods I feel pain. My dentist told me that the tooth is supposed to be dead so I shouldn’t feel anything and that it might be surrounding teeth. However, they also told me that Dr.
Momodu possibly didn’t clean it out all the way. The nurse informed me that they used to work with him and how kids parents’ would have multiple complaints about how rough he was or that the experience wasn’t pleasant. They asked me how my experience went for me and I told them that he and the nurses were terrible at comforting and communicating with their patients, which is a crucial skill you need in a field like this. They told me that multiple people said the same thing but he was the only doctor in the Fayetteville region for a root canal. They said they will try to find another doctor and that they will let people know about the multiple complaints. I have to go back in a couple of weeks, and if I still feel pain I have to go back to Momodu for him to clean it out all the way since he was the one who did the original operation. I’m a teenager, and the fact that I’m so young and have to get a root canal is already horrifying and saddening, but the lack of care and sympathy from the Dr operating on me made it worse. I wish the dentist at my primary could do the work instead. I seriously don’t recommend this doctor, especially if you have anxiety or get nervous easily. If your dentist recommends you here tell them no, and ask if there is somewhere else. If you’re able to, it’s definitely worth the farther drive for another dentist, hopefully one who cares about their patients.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! I would not give him anything stars! I had a regrettable experience at Brite Care Dental. I went in for a root canal, which went well. However, when I came back for the crown, that's when my nightmare began. The first crown didn't even match the color of my other teeth, which shocked and upset me to the point of having a panic attack. The dentist told me he could fix it by putting crowns on my other four front teeth, offering to do one for free while I'd have to pay for the others. I had just paid him $1,000 for the crown that he did wrong, and now he wanted to put crowns on teeth that didn't need them.
I refused. He said to come back in the morning, and he would fix the crown. The nurse called the next morning, and I sat there all day until 3 pm, only for him to tell me he couldn't do it because he had to wait for a delivery. This made me tear up again. The nurses tried to comfort me, but he was rude to them. He told me to come back the next morning, and when I did, he said he had made a new tooth that looked much better.
He put the new crown in, but it was still way off in color. He didn't offer to fix it and brushed it off, leaving me beside myself Now I'm walking around with a poorly done crown, and I have to pay another dentist to redo his mistake, which will cost me more money that I shouldn't have to spend. He's clearly more concerned about money than patient care. Avoid this office at all costs, as it will cost you more to fix the damage he'll do to your mouth.

SEND YOUR KIDS HERE IF YOU HATE THEM! The dentist handled both me and sister horribly! Physically turning our head to put things in our mouth with no introduction or telling us what they were doing. The staff argued about who had to sit with my sister while on Nitrous. Accidentally left her on for ten extra minutes. Tools were visibly dirty and I was left in the back for 2 hours after given novacaine.
The front desk laughed about "the girl on Nitrous" who complained about dirty tools. 0/10 experience and we will not be returning. They also scheduled us an appointment when we had no intention to go back and is what reminded me to write this review. All positive reviews sound fake!!

Our experience here has been lovely! My boyfriend needed a root canal, crown, and some fillings replaced and because they accepted his Medicaid it was actually quite affordable. Everywhere else quoted us $3k or more and we did it for half of that with Dr Momodu. He tries to do everything he can to save the tooth that is causing issues/pain and is a very friendly and charismatic man. We had such a good experience here that I became a patient too. cleaning, x-rays, and next replacing some old metal fillings. So far I have paid $0 for my care.
I expect my three fillings to be roughly $100 after insurance. I have Delta Dental. They are quite busy, so most visits do take some time. Expect to be there a minimum of 2 hours. They are currently booked up about a month out as well, but it is so worth the wait.
