Never go to this clinic; everyone at this clinic completely disregards customers and lacks responsibility. The first time I came to this clinic for an examination, they took X-rays of my teeth and told me that my wisdom teeth had all grown in and needed to be extracted. They also mentioned that a teeth cleaning appointment would have to be scheduled for the following year. As a result, I decided to switch to another clinic. I sent an email to this clinic requesting them to transfer my dental records to the new clinic. They didn't respond until I called them, at which point they emailed me a transfer form. However, they still didn't send my dental records to the new clinic.

Later, I moved to a new state and emailed them once again, asking for my dental records. This time, they surprisingly said that there would be a fee to provide them. I called to inquire, and they stated that this had always been their policy. At the time, my teeth were infected, and I chose not to argue, so I paid the fee. Nevertheless, they still didn't send my dental records. I sent another email requesting my dental records, and after several days, they finally sent a partial image. I emailed them once more, asking for the complete records, and after several days, they finally sent them.

However, I have no permissions to download or print the photos from my dental record, leaving me unable to access my own images. To make matters worse, the email containing my dental record will expire within a week. I'm not sure if it's because I'm of Asian descent, but if that's the case, it only further underscores the abysmal nature of this dental clinic. I received incredibly unfair treatment at this clinic. If you're looking for a positive experience, I would strongly advise against visiting this clinic.

After my appointment, I knew then why I was so easily able to get a same day appointment. Dr. Parker's bedside manner is highly inappropriate. He made multiple "ethnic" jokes. He did not tell me what he was going to do he just went right in.

I had a tooth extracted. He just started jamming the novocaine needle into my gums with out any warning. As the procedure went further I was expressing clear signs of discomfort and pain, of which he chalked up to nerves (even though I clarified that it was not nerves). At one point I had to push the doctor away and ask for a breather. He was so rough and nonchalant about the procedure I ended up being sent into a panic attack and was visibly shaking and distraught and he just yelled at me and said I needed to cooperate.

I left the office crying and I am concerned I may develop issues in the healing process because of how rough he was. His nurses were oddly quiet in a way that seemed like they too were uncomfortable with Dr. Parker and this was obvious immediately. He was highly distracted during the procedure, leaving to crack jokes with other patients and he did the whole procedure with the doors wide open.

Myself and family have been patients of Dr Parker for several years and were pleased up until now. I haven't been able to get an appointment in over a year. They have incompetent employees working for him. Please retire Dr Parker so your reputation is not tarnished. Fire these new people and retire.

Marta and the young woman whom answered the phone should be the First to go. Don't waste your time with this place. They don't have a hygienist to clean teeth. A real clown show.

Don’t be fooled by the high rating. If you look at reviews only in the past 3 years, the average is actually 1. 9/5. I think this may have been a good practice in the past, but that isn’t the case any longer. The only exception is my hygienist (idk his name, the website isn’t up to date). He’s terrific, and if it weren’t for him, and the fact that I don’t require any major dental work, I would’ve stopped going here much sooner.

The office is poorly run. They routinely cancel appointments 30 minutes prior (happened to us 2 days in a row because they failed to send a crown to the lab). Altogether, they canceled or postponed 2 appointments 3 times in a month. The times I’ve had something more urgent, i had to wait over a week to be seen (I expect this for a cleaning/new patient, but as an established patient most practices can get you in quickly for something urgent). I don’t feel that Dr. Parker is very thorough or attentive.

At times he seems dismissive, and the exams are usually very quick. Again, maybe this wasn’t always the case, but something has changed in the past few years, and I highly recommend you go elsewhere for dental care. The only thing that this office has going for it is the location is very convenient if you live in Squirrel Hill, and the hygienist I see is good.
