I can say with absolutely certainty this is the best dental clinic around for dentists. I have the best dentist that takes so much care when caring for my oral hygiene, and takes time to ask about my family. I live 45 mins away now but I still come back to see my dentist. Unfortunately though, there has been a shift in the reception staff and that part doesn’t align with the care I receive. I am not sure what has happened.

When I used to call the clinic I would always get a person (usually Josie), and they would work out my appointments. Now, I mostly get voicemail and play phone tag for a few days to get an appointment, I get a text to respond to rather than talking to a person, or I get the other Bur Oak office when I leave a message at my office (West). The receptionists do not listen to the needs of the patient— I said I need a Saturday and they said okay so Monday night works (this has happened more than once), they put me on hold without saying they are doing that, are often having conversations in the background and then ask you why you are calling them. It is incredibly frustrating. I love this clinic so much because I love the dentists so much and the reception used to be the absolute best! My husband has been asking me to switch to his clinic for years and I haven’t wanted to for the love of this office.

But I will admit the experience with the reception has had me considering it as of late. I miss the personal service of the past.

Needed an explanation on my dental issue and was glad that Dr Huang was able to diagnose it properly. My hygienist Tiffany did a great job cleaning and the front desk staff were so friendly. Great Team

All the front-end staff, hygienist, and dentist were great. However, the admin person (who came out from the front room) gave the impression that she was offering me a discount when I questioned the discrepancy in the estimates. I had called the dental office beforehand to request an estimate, and based on that, I booked my appointment. However, when I arrived, I was given a different estimate.

She assured me they would honor the original quote, but in the end, I still paid more. While the cost difference is not the main issue, I would appreciate more transparency regarding insurance coverage, my co-pay, and the treatments planned before the appointment.

Dr Wong is very rich experienced and can explain difficult cases in simple understandable way. Her skills on treating my fillings are very impressive, gentle, clear and smooth. I’m very happy about the results. Highly recommended.
