My family and I were patients at this practice for many years. Dr. Cahoon and his hygienists are awesome. However, when Covid began, they shut down the waiting room, and it continues today. If a parent brings a child to an appointment, whether it's 95 degrees and humid or 25 degrees and snowing, the parent must wait in their car.

Dr. Cahoon says it's because he hasn't been able to hire someone to sit at the front desk, but at this point, it's inexcusable; why can't a waiting parent sit quietly in the waiting room? Additionally, return calls are nonexistent, and if you need to reschedule an appointment for whatever reason, you cannot reschedule it right away, you have to wait until there is a cancellation to get back on the schedule. The policies of this practice are terribly inconvenient, so we decided to go to somewhere else.

Dr Cahoon is (was?) awesome, but I have been trying repeatedly to make appointments for the last 2 years and nothing. No call backs to my messages, no responses to my online appointment requests, nothing. But they will send me email reminders to schedule a check up. What? Im TRYING too!!! So I’m now transferring elsewhere.

There are so many stories/comments just like ours on the local community FB pages. I hope Dr Cahoon realizes his staff is costing him business because he really was great.

I like Dr. Cahoon and it is the most comfortable that I have ever been in a dentist chair. I have had difficulty with the office providing documentation of services provided. Also, it would be nice to know befoe a visit will be owed for a visit. Dr. Cahoon accepts Anthem as a provider. An appeal needed to be filed with Anthem, and the office refused to help in filing the appeal for reimbursement.

Anthem even called the office twice themselves for information. Recently, I had an appointment and feel that some of the services could have waited until insurance coverage was in place in the new year. I asked, once again, for documentation for services and was never provided it. This is needed for mathching up with EOB's, and should actually be given at each visit, so that the patient can know what is covered and what is not covered by insurance. Love the dentist himself.

I'm a new patient with Dr. Cahoon. From the first call to my first appointment, they did a great job. Everything was smooth and appeared to be well run. For my cleaning appointment, their hygienist was out for a family emergency. Rather than reschedule, Dr.

Cahoon did the cleaning himself. That told me everything I need to know about the ethic of the practice and "servants' heart" of Dr. Cahoon. I suspect that his team follows his excellent example. Highly recommended! Tim
