Just visited Catonfield Dental as a first time patient. It is a very beautiful and serene office. Dr. Tonarelli was wonderful and explained every step of my treatment and made sure I was very comfortable. I am very happy to have found this dental office that is close to home.

I have been going there for 2 years now. First visit was great. The next 2 follow-ups were just ok. Today, I left work early to get to my appointment that I scheduled six months ago. Walk in, do the automated check-in. No one is there at the front desk. Use the restroom, come back out, sat around, ran out to my truck, came back and then someone at the front desk calls my name.

She tells me that they had been trying to get ahold of me since Monday, because they are too busy and have to reschedule my appointment, yet again, the one that I made 6 months ago. I told her that I never received a call, but just got back from a rural camping trip with no cell reception. And was told, oh I'm sorry, when would you like to reschedule your appointment? So now I would have pick a new day, take off work early again, and drive out here again, because they chose to cancel my appointment. And if they were trying to get ahold of me since Monday, why didn't I get a call yesterday, or even anytime today saying, hey, we've canceled your appointment. Then I wouldn't have left work early, drove 45 min there for no reason. Adter leaving, I looked back on my voice mail, and only received one message from them, on Monday. It simply stated they were calling in regards to my appointment, and give them a call back.

So apparently one call means we've been trying to get ahold of you for the past 4 days? And they never mentioned in the voice mail that they were calling to let me know that they had canceled my appointment. Horrible customer experience. If you're going to cancel someone's appointment, then a least put some effort into informing them of that. Needless to say I will not be returning and will gladly share my experience with everyone I know. And after looking at some of the recent reviews, it appears I am not the only one that has had a similar experience. I guess this is a warning for anyone thinking about going to Catonfield Dental.

I was treated by the staff very professionally from the time I walked into the office. The most important statement that was made to me by the Dentist was do not fix it if it's not broken. That told me they care about the patient and are not there to just take your money. Great experience.

Nothing but good things to say. Dr. Elena is the best. She knows how much of a chicken I am and anticipates my needs to keep me calm. Always explains every option and we work together for the best plan going forward. I love that you are treated like a person and not a number.
