I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed last week and Dr.Taufiq did an amazing job! I was very scared and anxious going into the procedure, but Dr.Taufiq was very patient and made me feel comfortable. By day 2, my pain was mostly gone and I was able to slowly start eating real food. Recovery and healing was smooth and went by quick. I Definitely recommend Dr.Taufiq for your wisdom teeth removal :)

HOH Performance
Dr Taufiq and his staff helped me with exceptional care at the last minute before the weekend. Had to have a tooth pulled and it was quick and to the point. I would recommend 10 out of 10.

As a Black patient, this experience was disappointing. I came in expecting professionalism and respect but left feeling dismissed and belittled. Qualifications matter, but so does how you treat people. I will be taking my options elsewhere. Below was MY experience at this office. I always do thorough research before choosing any doctor, and after reading many positive reviews about this oral surgeon, I expected a five-star experience. Unfortunately, my visit did not reflect the glowing praise others have shared. Upon entering the office, I immediately felt unwelcomed.
Two staff members sitting on a couch looked me up and down as if sizing me up. One then said to the other, *"Oh, I think we have to go back now,"* before they both left. That moment set the tone for the rest of my visit. The receptionist handled my check-in smoothly, and when I was called back, the dental assistant was initially kind. However, the experience took a turn when the doctor entered the room. He briefly greeted me, then dove straight into discussing my wisdom tooth extraction(I appreciated this). His demeanor however was condescending, cocky, and dismissive. I tried to overlook his attitude, but it became increasingly difficult as the consultation continued.
Eventually, I felt compelled to ask, *"Is everything okay?"* When he asked me to clarify, I told him that his attitude was rude. I understand that doctors see many patients throughout the day, but professionalism and respect should remain constant. Instead of adjusting his tone/behavior, he responded that patient comfort is important, but if I didn’t like his attitude, I had *options. * He then told me I could *"go online and look up his resume,"* implying that his qualifications outweighed any concerns about his bedside manner. To make matters worse, his assistant chuckled behind me—whether at me or with me, I’m not sure—but it only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere. Even she wasn’t spared from his condescension, as he spoke to her in the same dismissive manner.

I want to go into this review with total gratitude, because OMG! how satisfied I was with choosing this office. Although I have a long way to go on my journey, I trust Dr. Taufuq’s direction. Doc was so patient, understanding, compassionate and willing to hear everything I had to say.
I pray I continue to receive the same warm, sensitive, welcoming feeling I experienced today. Feels as if I found a new medical family. Thank you guys 🧡
