One of the most exceptional dental offices I have visited in quite some time. The staff members exhibit exceptional respect, and the doctor maintains a highly professional demeanor. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

This place is absolutely atrocious. If you care about your teeth AT ALL, do NOT come here. They missed TWO cavities and barely even looked at my teeth. My current dentist was shocked they didn’t spot these cavities. They said if I trusted Central Park West Dental Studio, a simple cavity filling would have turned into a root canal so fast.
DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Literally any other dentist in the area would be better. I worry about all the people who left good reviews, have someone else check your teeth, please.

Been meaning to write this for a while. There are several reasons you should avoid this place at all costs (many of the 5 star reviews here are because they offer an incentive at the front desk to leave one): 1) As many others have mentioned, they signed me up for a credit card without my permission. I had asked for a payment plan but they didn’t disclose that it would be a credit card with a hard inquiry on my credit report and a very high interest rate. That wasn’t an issue because I paid on time, but it’s still predatory. 2) They did the procedure one part at a time over a period of several months, but charged the card for all of it up front. The dentist was rarely in the office so the time between appointments was far longer than it needed to be. 3) Got a dental implant there that failed.
The x-rays from before the implant showed I had enough bone there to accommodate it. After it failed, they told me the bones were too weak to re-implant. So their shoddy work essentially damaged the bone enough that I couldn’t get another implant. They ended up doing a Maryland bridge instead, which has debonded repeatedly. 4) During one of the appointments, I thought they were cleaning the teeth for the procedure but I found out the hard way that they billed my insurance for it when I went to my regular dentist for my cleaning and the benefit had been used already. I had not requested a cleaning nor had I been told they were doing one. 5) They once tried to tell me I had a cavity that needed to be filled, but my regular dentist said no cavity was present.
6) They take x-rays far more than necessary so they can bill your insurance for it 7) The owner, Daniel, is not a dentist but involves himself in treatment, making suggestions about what work should be done, trying to upsell, etc. It was very weird discussing my treatment plan with the owner rather than the professional. He’s very sleazy and should not be trusted, you can see the dollar signs in his eyes and the greed oozing out of his pores. His knowledge of dentistry is poor … as an example, in his emails to me he repeatedly referred to it as a “Marilyn” bridge. The actual dentist is really more of a figurehead who acts at the behest of the owner.

Unbelievably expensive and they had me sign a bill while I was in the chair mid-examination! Also, the resins that they put in have fallen out, either partially or completely and they charged me in advance for two root canal “therapies”, two crown buildups and two porcelain crowns when the dentist even told me they could only do one and that one isn’t finished and I’m going in for a third time! And again, it’s borderline criminal to have a patient sign an incredibly, shockingly expensive bill while he or she is mid-procedure! And they conveniently put me in with a credit card agency to make installment plans at exorbitant interest rates. Be warned…UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW After complaining about overcharging me, including charging me for two root canals and two porcelain crowns when they only did one, they refunded app. $4,000. 00 of the $13,000.
00 plus charge. However, almost all of the resin supports they put in have fallen out, making my total of over $9,000. 00 possibly the most outrageously expensive root canal and crown in NY history. And the crown doesn't really fit well - that's another story - when I went back for the third time because the temporary crown fell out they said they got the actual crown and could put it in that day.
However they suddenly realized they were out of cement to adhere it in place. I then waited almost an hour! I'm now anticipating this porcelain crown to either fall out or have to be redone by an actual dentist who knows what he/she is doing. Be warned, folks - they're running a scam here!
