In-Network or Out of network. That’s the real question. I am only submitting this post because the day after my procedure at Chapman Dental they sent me a text asking me to leave feedback. So I’m taking the time to do so. I arrived at my appointment early and was taken back to be prepped and seated. The procedure was like any other procedure I’ve had at the dentist. My reason for the one star would have to be the insurance snafu. I’m not a cash customer I have good insurance that I pay good money for. Before I even chose Chapman Dental I asked them to check my insurance to make sure it was accepted by them. I was told it was, during our first visit at Chapman Dental.

We had thought we found a new dentist. Only to get the bill after my procedure and my portion was 80% of the bill not the other way around. The lady handing me the bill was dumbfounded, she kept saying I understand. Understand what - Why is my insurance not paying for the majority of this? Her response we are not In-Network with that insurance. Then why am I HERE. She said I totally Understand. Understand what - the fact that I am now stuck with a large bill for your mistake. She said let me check the system and see if someone told you different. Maybe the system can see if you were wearing a pink top that day too. Come on….

. She kept saying I understand. Understand what, that we were just so enamored with Chapman Dental that we were like, lets go to a dentist that’s out of our Network just to pay more money. In the end I was stuck with the bill so the insurance was useless. So it was a terrible experience and I obviously won’t be back. Who visits a dentist having insurance only to pay full price for their procedure. The answer: No One - I’ll keep everyone updated if something changes but I would advise you, to watch your bills and get everything in writing. Recent Update - Chapman Dentistry refuses to make good on the insurance snafu.

Julie is the best dentist around. I’ve always struggled with getting properly numb. In the past, previous dentists I had gone to just didn’t care or would act like It was all in my head. I remember that I used to worry and stress for weeks before my appointments.

Julie doesn’t rush; she patiently makes sure you're fully numb before starting, no matter how long it takes. (I seriously love you for that. ) Just an all-around amazing group of ladies work here. Thank you!

I just switched to Dr. Chapman last year and have more been there several times. All my experiences have been very positive. She is so sweet and so is her staff. All their equipment is up-to-date. She does excellent work!

Chapman Dentistry is our family dental office. Dr. Chapman and the staff are always so kind, pleasant and very knowledgeable. They take the time to go over all treatment, cost, and insurance.

They are always willing to make sure to accommodate to our schedule, we couldn’t ask for a better dental office all around! If your looking for a new dentist this is the place to go. They all have positive attitudes and always a smiling face. Great office! Five stars!! Thank you Dr. Chapman and staff for always make our visits so pleasant!
