Best Dentist around. Dr. Karen makes you feel comfortable, and her staff is fantastic. They keep you informed about any procedure you are going to have. They also help keep stress and anxiety levels way down.

Dentistry is in the details. This dentist routinely ignores them. Dr. Tiwana leaves just about everything for her staff to do. I will say, her staff is great and well trained. Every appointment has been a fiasco. The last visit was the kicker. I had two teeth with cracks that had to be extracted. Dr. Tiwana made a temporary so that I would not be missing teeth until I get implants. However, the oral surgeon said it needed adjustment to fit properly. I had to go twice to get the temporary because the scan was not done properly the first time. As a result, I had to delay the extraction twice. First, because the scan was not done properly. The second time because Dr.

Tiwana said the device would be ready in time, but it wasn’t. I asked twice and they assured me it would be ready. It wasn’t. They never apologized. Meanwhile, I had pain on both sides of my mouth. After the surgery, the oral surgeon told me the device didn’t fit properly and needed an adjustment. Dr. Tiwana shoved the device in my mouth and said it fit perfectly. It was painful on one side of my mouth. When I said so, Dr. Tiwana tried to blame it on the surgery. However, I had more extensive surgery on the other side of my mouth, namely a sinus lift, not just an extraction, for which there was no pain. The device was pinching my gum on the other side because the device was too high and it was too tight on a tooth. The oral surgeon said it could damage other teeth and dental work if it was too tight. I had to practically beg her to adjust the tightness.

She quickly made an adjustment to the tightness, I think. I couldn’t see because she was standing behind me. Then she just stormed out of the room. It was still pinching my gum causing me a lot of pain. The doctor had left. So her assistant drilled down the height so it stopped pinching my gum. That’s where the pain was coming from, because the device was too high on my gum. Dr. Tiwana had already left the room. She really didn’t care if this was fixed right, whether I was in pain, or if I had to come back AGAIN! The tightness made it difficult to remove. The pinch on my gum was painful. Yet, Dr. Tiwana got pissy with me, as if I was being ridiculous when I told her it hurt. If that’s the kind of dentist you want, see her.

I have been impressed by every provider I’ve seen! Dr. Tiwana took the time to listen to my concerns and I was very comfortable with the treatment recommendations. The icing on the cake is the interior design of the building, which feels more like a cozy home than a medical office.

Please consider Chatham Dental Arts first, and support a fantastic small business before one of the new corporate dental offices in town.
