First, I have been a patient of this practice since I was a child. I used to see Dr. Traeger before he retired. I have been seeing Dr. Chauvin and Dr. Vu since then. I have also had one appointment with Dr. Yurchak over the summer. I have never had a problem with Dr. Chauvin, Dr. Vu, Dr.

Yurchak, or any of their techs or receptionists. I switched to the office on 146 over the summer for convenience purposes as it is closer and Dr. Yurchak and his tech were great. Stacy is allegedly the office manager at the 146 location, she is unprofessional and unhelpful on the phone. I originally called the office at 2pm today to report some new health concerns. I was immediately hit with the cancellation policy and fee. I said that I understood the policy & would attend my appointment as scheduled. The call ended & I left work at 3:30 pm to try & be on time for my 4:00 pm appointment. I had to call again to report rush hour traffic and the manager Stacy immediately accused me of trying to cancel my appointment last minute earlier in the day, not being on time on purpose despite the traffic, & hung up on me. Called back again, let receptionist Ashley know what happened and was told to tell Dr. Chauvin directly.

Ashley was laughing at me through the phone. I no longer feel comfortable or welcome at the 146 location and this is not Dr. Yurchaks fault at all! It’s the condescending and unhelpful receptionist and manager at that front desk. Why am I giving 2 stars instead of one? I then called the office around the corner on Vischer Ferry Rd (this is the office I’ve been a patient at since childhood). I clarified it was the other office, and spoke to the receptionist Terry. I told Terry what happened, was able to report to her my new medical concern, and she was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and set me up with a new appointment. I would prefer not to pay my $50 fee given how I was treated, but understand policy and will pay it. To Stacy (146 location manager) that berated me on the phone and made false accusations and from one healthcare professional to another, I hope that nobody in healthcare treats you or your loved ones the way that I was treated by you today. To Ashley, the receptionist, I hope that nobody in healthcare treats you or your loved ones the way that I was treated by you today.

Just had my semi-annual cleaning and check-up. Everyone, from the receptionists to the dentist are pleasant and professional. I have been treated at this office for 20+ years. No complaints!

Whether I have a cleaning, or restorative work, this is by far the best practice. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The office is absolutely spotless, including the bathroom. This is over 30 minutes from my home, but I won’t go anywhere else.
