Cherry Health – Westside Health Center: Dental

Tooth pulled on Thursday and she had a hard time pulling it. Had to keep injecting me with numbing medicine and poking around at my tooth. I got my tooth pulled before, but not at a Cherry location a different location where my dentist actually cared about my health. I’m a nurse assistant, I work at Spectrum Health I been in the medical field for a little over 8 years so i know what a infection looks like.

And I have to say this was the worst decision and Experience I ever had coming here never got a pain perception or antibiotics mind you my tooth is severely damaged. I wish I would of kept my tooth in and just went some where else to pay more money to get it pulled I probably would of saved a trip to the ER room in the middle of the night. Also the receptionist here is unprofessional. So the Doctor at the ER took a look at the area where my tooth was pulled and knew it was infected so here I am in the hospital with IV fluids and Antibiotics.

I’m scared to go back here because I voice my concerns to her Friday when I had to go back up there because I started to get different symptoms she acts as though I never had a pulled tooth and told me everything was ok. I’m glad I went to the ER because things could of got a lot worse for myself.

Been going here for years I love my doctor he is the best I have ever went through but the front desk people are very slow to answer the phone leave you on hold all day always have to call multiple times to get in contact with my doctor for my med refill the front desk people are always chatting when they could be helping someone as if they are on a lunch break maybe they should work more and talk less and stop taking forever to answer the phones or communicate with the doctors on concerns of the patients my doctor has had multiple discussion with them about this they are rude and unprofessional and childish only give it to stars for my doctor Daniel he is a great doctor! Hopefully they fix the problem with the staff and then they would get a better rating from me and I can never get into the dentist not that I would want them in my mouth after what they did to my husband teeth westside health center is a joke

Absolutely abhorrent. This place sent me multiple confirmation texts with an address of where my appointment was to be. I showed up at the address to find the building locked and dark. I was then told my appointment was at a different location. Went directly there only to be told they wouldn't see me because I was 10 minutes late as a result.

Waited months for this appointment. Didn't even receive an apology. Do not bother with this place.

I just want to say I could not appreciate y’all more. We lived through hard times with health care and dental work before and the level of care, access, and quality is night and day to what it was 20 years ago.

I’m in tears not because my husband is in pain and we don’t know what to do but because he went this morning first thing and they helped him. Thanks for serving our community with compassion 💜
